Will be here throughout the rest of the year! Thanks for the nice B-day wishes . . . tmo,12-23, is the big day. Can't believe I'm about to be another year older!! But glad to be alive & to have good friends like all of you!! Charles left me a msg yesterday regarding David Mitchell. He's in Baylor Grapevine with a broken hip!! I also saw the note on FB about Jimmy Hodnett having a knee replacement. Looks like we have several more friends to add to our prayer list.

Place: 66erville Comments: when discussing Sam's handsome grandson please remember his given name is Cody Jack! Two new nearly favorite NFL teams, the Chiefs and the Redskins. Those were great games! Thought the Cowboys were going to DO IT again, but they woke up and remembered they still had a quarter to play. Prayers continue and wishes for a MERRY CHRISTMAS to all SOCites everywhere and especially to the Class of 1966!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Karen - Thank you for letting us know about Mike Murray's surgery & additional problems. PLEASE do keep us updated. I would be especially interested in knowing when he will be relased, or if forced to stay in hospital, when he can have visitors. Prayers will go out for Mike Murray & continue for Ada Ann, Sammy & KRL. Merry Christmas SOC 66ers!
Place: Allen, TX Comments: My son told me that his wife lost her "mucus plug" (sounds disgusting), last Wednesday. So, the birth could take place pretty much any time now. Just hope she waits until after Friday night. I spent $400 to take Connie, Katie, and one of Katie's girl friends from elementary school to see the 25th anniversary edition of "Les Miserables" Friday night. My FAVORITE show. Seen Les Miserables several times already, but this one has been restaged. But, if baby Lila decides to make her debut earlier, I guess I will have to either see if I can get a refund or give the tickets to someone else. And, then sob in a box of tissues.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: J.D., are you in "house arrest"? Or, should I say "Dog House Arrest"? I bet that home sherriff did more than just take away your license.
Place: Bosque County, TX Comments: Just thought I would let our class members know that Mike Murray is in Baylor Plano ICU. He had a 2nd carotid artery surgery yesterday and although he was released, he had to return and they did further surgery on him after he had a bloodclot. He cannot have visitors at this time - but your prayers would be welcome. We will keep you updated on his progress.
Place: nh Comments: Sammy, Cody is adorable. Aren't grandones great?
Place: Sachse Comments: Sammy, little Cody has the sweetest smile. You are blessed to have such an adorable grandone. Tomorrow night we celebrate my granddaughter Kira's 20th birthday at American Airlines Center in one of the suites for the Dallas Stars game. My son-in-laws' law firm leases the suite and they are letting us have it for the night. We are looking forward to all the great food and drinks that will be served in addition to the great seats to watch the game. ![]() It's hard to believe that Christmas is coming up so soon. I still have lots to do.

Place: Richardson Comments: Don & I drove up to McKinney yesterday & spent almost 5 hrs walking the town square seeing all the shops. Had a wonderful time, as the weather was cool, but sunny. Stopped at El Fenix on the way home to eat and then enjoyed the Cowboys game last night! Can't believe next Sunday is Christmas! Where has the year gone???
Place: Richardson Comments: Rick - Kudos to you for all the hard work you do every year to secure gifts for children! Without you & other harder workers like yourself, many children would have nothing for Christmas! Thank You! Just posted a new Grandone on Pride & Joy. Do take a look. ![]() |
