Place: bigD Comments: I don't think I should bowl with you, You're too good, 300 is your average. Anytime I got 300 you know I cheated. The truth is I never got 300.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: CID you want me to take you on a tour of the parks Ricky-poo? Bring your bowli g ball and we will hit some of the lanes while we re at it!
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Rick, I can just see them moving the rocks around at Garden of the Gods. haha! I really do like that place. So "other-worldly."
Place: bigD Comments: Short Cake, do you have your lifetime pass to National parks ? We are starting to plan our next trip, Mount Rushmore.

Place: Cypress springs Comments: Yeah Rick they told me the same thing so you know they are just trying to be nice! Maybe bowling kit us young!!! Lol
Place: bigD Comments: Ronney, if you were last there in 62" you should go again, they have added new plants and moved the rocks around. It looks totaly different. Tickets are free. Hay that reminds me, I paid $20 to go through the Rocky Mountains National park, but when I got to Masa Verdi National park I asked about a senior discount and they offered me a lifetime pass to all National parks for $10, LIFETIME.. I wish I had known that in the Rockys. Age 62 is senior. The ranger at Masa Verdi wanted to see my licence because she said I didn't look that old. Isn't that sweet?
Place: New Grandone photo Comments: Baby Lila has been posted. Ck her out along with the rest of our adorable Grandones on the Pride & Joy pg!
Place: Richardson Comments: Got cute new pic of Lila! Will get it posted tda. Tnx Ronney. Ronney - If you liked Gardens of the Gods, you should take avacation to Sedona AZ. It's the most beautiful mesmerizing place I've ever been. The rock formations are like G of the G's on steroids ten times over!! No kidding! Sammy - I'm amazed at what we can get done during the week without seemingly knocking our lights out and still have the weekends for doing fun things! Glad y'all are having fun and also getting some things on your list done.
Place: Allen, TX Comments: Rick, I am so jealous. I love the Garden of the Gods. Haven't been there since 1962. We were going to go there this summer, but opted instead to go visit my elderly uncle (my only living relative) in Lutz, Florida (must north of Tampa). I've been to the Garden of the Gods twice (1st time when I was 5 years old). And, I find it the most enchanting place. Thanks for posting pictures.
Place: Coppell Comments: We finished 2 out of 17 home projects. Reconditioned ours and Marsha and Jeff's park benches. Both were rusty and ready for the dump. Looks like Home Depot's display models. Paying off to see Property Brothers on HGTV. Removed our small fence in the back alley where we place our garbage. Put down potting soil for Jazmen. Sarah started working on our master bathroom. Reconditioning our tub and getting ready to paint to match our new ceramic floor tile. Retirement is a blast.
Place: Richardson Comments: Sound like a great vac Rick! Back when I worked I traveled to Denver & then on over to Colorado Springs. It is a gorgeous city. I wd usually go in June or July when it was hot as heck here and where the rest of my clients were located. I remember always being able to see snow on the top of Pikes Peak even in the summer. Garden of the Gods is really amazing, kinda like a mini Sedona!! Glad you had a good time!!
Place: Colorado Comments: Just got back from Colorado, Flew in to Denver and rented a car, drove 1300 miles in 8 days, great weather, Saw Molly Browns house and the Evens house in Denver. Drove by the Denver Mint but they wern’t handing out samples that day so I didn’t stop, Denver Botanical gardens. Just snowed a little in the Rocky Mountains but not enough to stick on the ground. Saw Pikes Peak with some snow. Went to the Royal Gorge Bridge, Masa Verdi Pueblo ruins, Drove down the Million Dollar Hiway, that was beautiful, Garden of the Gods outside Colorado springs, also went to the Air Force Academy . We saw more just ask me after my nap. ![]() Garden of the Gods
