Hope nobody is going south on I35 as I understand that Karen is driving the RV. SNL, don't worry about your hair, just wrap it up like a big old turban!
Place: Richardson Comments: Sandy Mc thanks for the update regarding Sue. I hate to call him very often as I know he gets tired of repeating things. So if anyone talks to Mike please let the rest of us know. If you haven't already looked at our Pride & Joy, please do so. Can't believe Rod's Grandones have gotten so big!! Ck them out! I have one more to post before end of yr. Will post it tmo. Gosh I'm touched so many of you are worried about me!! Thank you so much for caring! Yes, I do have two small holes in my head (don't go there Smiley & Jack) and it did bleed a lot. But, I have not had an nausea, no blurred vision, no swelling or any systems of concussion. I've read the paper every mrng & been on the PC too. Today I'm going to wash this yucky hair. But the real challenge will be using that round brush & hair dryer to get it dried! Ouch! I know this will come as no surprise to many of you . . . but apparently I have a hard head! In Sept 1999 I was chasing a mean cat away from my house. I was running full speed down the side yard & as I approached the neighbors driveway I caught my toe on the edge of their driveway. I flew thru the air, landed on my right knee, then shoulder & then head! my head hit just above the right eye. I blacked out a few minutes & then came into the house. Within 30 min a huge goose egg came up on my head & my face started turning black & blue. We went to the ER. Spent 4 hrs there & all I got from them was an ice pack for the egg size knot on my head. they took several X-rays of my face as they thought for sure I had broken my eye socket bone or something! No, nothing broken & they said to go home & rest. Funny part is, that was Fri & on Sun me & my sis-n-law were hosting a Bridal Shower for a family friend!! If you think I didn't look terrible when I hobbled in. I looked as if I'd been beaten by a baseball bat. I also was supposed to leave for Hstn on Biz tip that Tue. Had to reschedule trip for few weeks. Honestly, I think my head is fine & healing good. But if I have any dizziness or other symptoms, I will go to Dr.

Place: Garland USA Comments: SNL...the last address I have for Mr. Arguelles is 5000 Old Shepherd Place, #613, Plano, Texas 75093. I think you gave that to us not too long ago...not sure if it was a residence or convalescent center.
Place: Bosque County, TX Comments: Sandy, I think you should go see a dr also. A head injury is not something to take lightly. The lady 2 doors down from us in AZ climbed a ladder - fell backwards - then unfortunately passed away. Not to scare you - but please be vigilant about making sure nothing at all is wrong. You are much too valuable to all us to loose!!
Place: DS Comments: Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I just read many pages back to try and get caught up. SNL, I agree with Karen about going to the doctor. Any head injury shouldn't be ignored, right Sam? So sorry that both of you fell. Ada ask for prayers for her and her family on facebook yesterday. I talked with Mike the afternoon of the 23rd and Sue had been taken off of the ventilator. They are both appreciative of all the prayers.

If anyone knows or finds something regarding Mr. Ramon Arguelles, please let me know. I do hope he is still living!Nice to see you posting Mike Dunn & Carol Carpenter!

Place: Cypress Springs Comments: Supposed to leave today for San Antonio. Today is our 27th anniversary. Have decided to wait until tomorrow because of weather. Did not get to get the RV stocked yesterday. Hopefully can do it today. Hope you are feeling better today SNL.
Place: Sachse Comments: Sandy, just read about your fall. Good grief! Glad to hear that you are doing better but I still wouldn't rule out a visit to the doctor to be sure there isn't a hematoma (blood clot) developing in your head. Seriously, don't ignore any continuing symptoms. Are you sure you didn't need any stitches? Hope everyone had a great Christmas and will enjoy health and prosperity in the new year.

Place: 66erville Comments: Pancho isn't in the SOC yearbook any of our three years. Glynda said if his name wasn't Pancho it must have been Lefty. This gutter is started to get crowded. Somebody needs to get out. I'd rather share with Carol, she's much better to be close to. But I know Smiley has no place else to go to, unless there is a special place for punsters. Anybody know where Southworth's mind go to??
