Place: 6erville Comments: Hey, Rick, I didn't bring it up! Sam you must be doing better. Looks like you are able to use both hands to type now. Your last story is a lot to type as a one handed, hunt and pecker.
Place: Coppell Comments: For those of you who saw my post on 01-21, Dale wanted to do something nice for Yvonne since he has his Rooval. For quite some time she has begged for a Rari bird. It is so extinct, the cost is astronomical, but what is money when he wants to make the love of his life happy. He hired a guide and trapper to fly to the mountains in Napal to capture the Rari. As luck would have it, the guide found one and had it flown to the Lazy S Ranch. Yvonne was ex tactic. Unfortunately and not known to them, Rari birds cannot survive outside the realm of their habitat. Yvonne asked Dale to take it to a local forest and let the Rari enjoy the beauty and serenity until it's last days. Dale loaded it in the back of his truck. The only way to get to the forest was via a 500 foot cliff. As Dale backed his pickup to the edge of the Cliff, Jack happened to drive by. He asked Dale what he was doing. Dale related his story. Jack walked to the edge of the cliff and said "Dale, It's along way to Tiparari"
Place: bigd Comments: Happy New Month Everyone!!! Jack I hoped I had heard the last of your Ice Hole.
Place: 66erville Comments: Send him over, Sandy Mc, if he is able to have a two way conversation. I don't do that babble stuff. SNL, are you talking about you or the house with those noises?? Now Richard and Little a, I think that most everyone is in agreement that I spend much of my time in a position that many say is impossible to accomplish, ie, I view the world through my navel. Trouble is, I don't learn anything that way, so I pop out once in a while and try to engage in discussions with sages like yourselves, Dale, Sam and others who will talk to me. Isn't that what friends are for? I still miss my old ice hole, it had a light in it.
Place: Garland USA Comments: Mike, so sorry to hear about your mother's passing, and I hope you find a good place to rest and relax in California. Take care and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Place: Richardson Comments: You're welcome Linda! I like that there are 3 generations at the table. Mike - I know you've been really sick and then the stroke on Thanksgivings Day. Now your Mom passing away . . . I'm so sorry for your loss. You've been thru a lot in the past yr. I do hope you can now rest back home in CA and get better. Hopefully your health will begin to improve! It is always nice to hear from you!
Place: Texas Comments: Mike, so sorry for the loss of your mother. Hopefully, you will find peace and healing in CA. Sandy, thanks for posting my Christmas dinner picture. You did good.
Place: California Comments: I truly regret that it has taken me this long to get quiet time enough to post this, but I lost my Mom last Saturday and the funeral was held last Thursday at Restland Park. This entire ordeal fell upon my shoulders and I am sorry for anyone I forgot in this process. This coupled with the stroke I suffered on Thanksgiving day has about taken its toll on me. I am heading back to California on Friday afternoon to see if I can find a place to hide for a while. |
