Richard - I thought the secret to your happy marriage was bec you traveled a lot??

I did it . . .  tda went to Bed Bath & Beyond & used my 20% coupon to buy the beautiful TX  Quilt for the TX bedroom!  As luck wd hve it, last night I recvd one of those BB&B $5 off coupon.  Used it for the 2 pillow shams to match quilt.  Of course I had to buy the dust ruffle too!!  Don's going to be surprised when he sees the MC bill.   Good thing I got $49 off the total bill or he might have a coronary!!

Hey, SNL, living in California is good for my marriage.  The formula for a happy marriage is the same as the one for living in California: When you find a fault, don't dwell on it.

(is Smiley awake yet?)

Richard, Richard, I think you've been in Calie too long . . .  you're starting to sound like Smiley!

Did you hear where a golfer in Illinois was playing & about to swing when he was swallowed up by a sink hole!!  No kidding, saw it on noon news tda.  It was 18' deep, but his buddies were able to get him out.  Got a sprained shoulder, but is Ok.

FYI - I need some help from my SOC friends!  Does anyone living here in the Sachse, Murphy, Garland, Plano area have a Bed, Bath & Beyond 20% off coupon you aren't gng to use before it expires?  Seriously, BB&B just got in the quilt I would like for the bed in our Texas Bdrm.  Been looking 4 yrs for one & I really want it.  Problem is . . .  it's too much money & I need the 20% off so I can get it.  If any of you have one of those 20% off on one item coupons, can I please use it?  I'll give you mine the next time one comes in the mail.  Call or em me or post a note here. THANKS!

We didn't feel the earthquake because we were in a stationary store at the time.

That's for Smiley's benefit.

Yeah Toni . . .  wait your turn!!  I haven't got my autographed copy yet and I jumped on it first thing!

Obviously Californians are less jumpy.  Heck a few weeks ago our back alley neighbor's lawn mower backed fired and I hit the floor!  I thought it was a gun shot!

Spoke to my cousin in San Diego yesterday.  Her yardman told her that the tremor was only the neighborhood trees being cut down in the neighborhood.  Clearly they are not as phased by earthquakes as we are!

Where do I get my autographed copy of the Kohl's flier??
