Happy belated birthday James. HOpe you had a great one.
We should take a lesson from our grandkids and learn the art of relaxation............. Thirty minutes BEFORE they come over for us to babysit.

HAPPY BIRHDAY, James and wishes for many more. Since you was one, maybe you can tell me why the leader of the band is called the Drum Major. Always wondered about that.

I believe tda is James Young's B-day.  A very Happy B-day to our SOC Drum Major!  May you have many many more!!  Happy B-day my friend!

Rick - Don laid solid St Augustine grass sod (16 x 24 ea) in most of our front yd two yrs ago.  There were a few areas that it hadn't spread to yet so last wk he laid another 25 pieces.  It's hard work, especially on the knees, digging out the area and laying it all down and adding dirt around it.  Last yr he did our bkyard, took two full pallets.  It wore him out, but it sure is looking pretty.  Did you do St Augustine or Bermuda?

Farmer Roe, I know you want to get your hay in, but we could REALLY use some more rain to fill the lakes for summer. So even though I know you love playing in the hay, please use your influence to bring us  more rain and put off cutting the hay for awhile longer. Thanks!
Rick, what kind of grass are you growing??

SINUS!!  It wouldn't go away and left side of my face, mainly my eye & surrounding area swelled & could barely see.  It was a nasty sinus infection.  But, after 10-days of antibiotics, I'm feeling good & infection cleared up.

We got over an inch from the Wed nite/Thurs mrng showers & a nice surprise this mrng with another half inch!!  Wish it wd rain once a wk all summer long, but that's not gonna happen.

Don left this mrng for Driftwood & will be back tmo with April.  Gonna be a fun wk w/ our G-dtr!!!

Nice rain this morning. We got over an inch of rain so far. Perfect timing to spread my Scotts Summer Guard.
Jack, don't over exert yourself with your rigorous exercise schedule. Start with your right elbow. Hold a bottle of beer and drink 10 times. Repeat this 4 times then tune in to a pro golf tournament. You are assured a good 30 minute power nap
Sandy, so what happened to your eye?

The weather here at the lake is great! We have been outside doing stuff all day. Unfortunately we have to head to garland tmr. Friends are having 50 th anniversary party plus mom is going to move and we have to start getting stuff ready. Although the place she is moving to is going to come pack everything and have a decorator place everything in her new place. I think I want to move there! Good food...no yard work...maid service, gated. Course I cannot afford it but oh well. We will miss chambrel but this place is really a lot nicer.

Sam - you are definitely a busy man!  I'm tired just thinking about 3 times a wk 2 hrs each session of PT!   Hope your arm/shoulder is healing & you're better able to use it now.

Ronney - How's that new job coming along?  Hope it will carry you on into retirement!

I'm doing good, swelling in eye finally going down & I'm beginning to feel normal again . . .  or whatever normal is for me??

We got over an inch of rain Wed nite/Thurs mrng.  It was wonderful!!!!

Hey, Rod ol' buddy!!!! How are you doing? Since I started working at Capital One, I don't have time to communicate much...here or on FaceBook. Probably a good thing, seeing as everytime I open my mouth, my shoe tries to fly into it. haha!
