You are very welcome Mike.  That's what this site is all about . . . getting SOCites together with old friends.  I'm very glad Barry was able to take part in the services for your dtr.

As Jack said, feel free to stop by anytime, you are always welcome here and so is your brother, Duane.

Glad that worked out for you, Mike. Drop by and visit with us anytime. Encourage Duane to do so too. I just found a picture of Duane at Camp Dallas in his skivies and shaving cream all over his face. Wish I could remember the story that goes with it.

Thanks for your help locating Hosford. We held our celebration of my daughters life yesterday in Dallas. The event was beautiful and Barry was on message.
Again, thanks for your help.
Mike

Nice job KMD!  I knew you had talent, based on you home remodeling prowse, but looks like your computer skills ain't bad either.  How lucky Kira is to have such a smart & sweet Grandma.

If anyone has a problem viewing it, you may see a blank screen but hear the music . . . put your cursor underneath on the black bar all the way to the right & it will say "View video on YouTube" click it & it allows you to see & hear it via YouTube.  I had a problem, that's why I gave the info.  It all depends on your computer settings as to what you can & can't see.

Nicely done, Karen!

When MY grandson gets married, I'm coming straight to you for the video work.

Uh, he turned 4 last week.

I created a pictorial compilation of my granddaughter Kira and new son-in-law Mark to give to them that shows their journey to becoming husband and wife. For anyone who has 4 minutes to spare, I'm sharing it with you too.

I don't know about the rest of you Rangers fans, but I'm feeling pretty smug this morning.  We took Oakland 3 out of 4 and then swept the best team in baseball, St. Louis, in their own back yard!!

Of course the rain delays Saturday evening & the l-o-n-g delay last night are killing me. I'm sleep deprived, but it's funny how a late night/early morning victory 2-1 over St. Louis can keep you going!

Catching up on the GB. Cute pictures of Sammy's Cody Jack and SNL's bunch. Was gone last weekend to my first grandchild's wedding in Waco. It's hard to believe that Kira is now 21 and a senior at Baylor and now MARRIED. She and her new husband are inspirational youth leaders at the church where they met in Waco. So proud of her.

The Dagley's moved to Grand Prairie a short while ago, that's why you don't see him any more Rick!  But as Jack said, you probably can catch him thru the wk at the old house out your way.

Sam - In all honesty, I'd settle for my 40's!!   These 60's are killing me! But I do know what you mean.  After a wk with the triplets, we are worn down to a nub.  The 2 boys will be coming soon, just waiting for the baseball games to end.  Could be any day now, depending on whether they win or lose today!!

Well, we had our three Hale grandkids this week while Marsha and Jeff moved back to Highland Park.
We are too pooped to pop. Anyone remember the song from way back, " I wish I were ( age ) again"? I think it's fifteen, but no mater, anything will fit.
Love these grandkids!

Rick, I saw Gary Wednesday. He told me they bought a house in Midlothian (I think) and he was working on the "old" house during the week and getting the "new" one set up on the weekends. Stop by his old house during the week and check up on him.

Sam - our Triplets LOVE Kid Country.  The old one & the new one.  We bring a cooler with ice & drinks & some chips and we have to drag the kids away.  We usually go eat  somewhere close & some times come back after lunch.  It is such a nice place.  It's 25 mi from our hse, so 50 mi roundtrip, but they love that place.

Sandy, Kid Country was built by the residents of Coppell in 1992. It took hundreds of us to build this over the course of a few weekends. Before the population explosion, we got to know quite a few people and enjoyed the community effort.
The new Kid Country of 2012 has some of the old elements as well as some new. Again, community envolvement was present.
It is a nice place to bring the grand ones, bring some snacks and enjoy the Coppell Aquatics outdoor pool.
Plans for the future include a dog park, New larger pavilion to replace the old one adjacint to the pool and a more spacious family oriented park.
