Hey guys do not just because the grandkids hits 12 or 13 you will not see them much Chase still comes as often as he can and brings his friends with him. He still goes on trips with us and says he is going to stay longer next summer. He calls his grandfather at least every other night. And we talk to Shelby at least once or twice a week....or FaceTime her on the iPad.

Our baby Grand Daughter's tumor was benign, Praise God ! Sarah was in a near fatal accident as a truck was losing its belongings, and they went all over the highway. She went across 3 lane of traffic, swirled around and almost hit the inner guardrail. No one stopped to help. Finally, a woman stopped and asked if she was ok. She called me crying her eyes out. Didn't complete her trip to work. I talked her in to coming here and she did, still crying.God has been with us!!

Karen, My daughter took me to the LocalYocal.  Fun place to go and explore.  We didn't buy anything that day, but I expect I'll be back.  Still learning my way around.  One day I was going to WalMart and drove too far on Eldorado, saw a Kroger, and decided to shop there.  Now I know that WalMart is on Lake Forest off Eldorado.

Was in Lakeway 5 days this time and the babies are growing and staying awake more.  Was so much fun to hold them and love on them.  Lots of diapers being used............

It happens Sandy. Our 11 year old lives in McKinney and only saw him a handfull of times this summer. Garrett is growing up way too fast. It's a bummer they are reaching their teen years, but we spoil them while we can.
Daughter and daughter- in- law both have to detox them after spending time with us. Ha!

Amen Sammy!  I'm afraid once they hit 12 or 13 it will be over.  They won't be interested in spending a week with us since they live SW of Austin.  They will have friends and be involved in teenager stuff!!  It's a good time in life when they still think G-ma & G-pa know everything and they love being with us!!!

I hope they will cherish these times as much as we will.  Of course, when the triplets hit 13, Brooklyn will not yet be 8.  So still got one to go.  But I bet they all remember the fun times we've had at the Pool, Zoo, Amusement Parks, Miniature Golf, Train Rides, Baking Cupcakes, etc!!  They grow up waaay too fast!

We are having fun with our grandkids spending the night, watching them play in the pool, taking them to a movie and the park. Let's face it guys, there will come a time when they are teenagers that they will move on and not visit us as much, so we enjoy them when they are little. They will share the memories of visiting grandma's and grandpa's and how we spoiled them when they have kids
Cherish the moments group.

Talk about feeling old - remember all the pictures I used to send of Chase when he was a little boy and all the cute things he used to do?  Well that cute little boy turned 18 today!    Boy are his parents ever getting old ......not me of course!  Several girls took him to lunch today....he does not believe in narrowing it down to one girl - he has several.  I raised him right!

Smiley, go empty your mailbox. You're missing some good stuff I'm sending. What kind of outfit you with that still limits emails?? Or is that hand-cranked computer of yours doesn't have enough memory?

Let's see now - I just finished reading about 8 pages .....did not get to read much while I spent the last 3 weeks in Colorado where the temp has been about 75 during the day and in the 50's at night - great weather!!!!!  Looked at the temp on my car when we got home yesterday and it showed 96 - started to go back!!!!  Oh well!  Welcome Home!

Happy BD to everyone whose BD's I missed and glad you all got your cards also.  I got mine about a month ago and Bobby got his right before we left although his BD is not until November!

Some new Grandones on Pride & Joy!  Ck out how Grandpa Sam cools 'em down.

I'm sorry if some of the pics are small and won't enlarge, but many of you are sending me pics taken with cell phos and at a very low resolution.  I can't enlarge them and the system can't make them any bigger either.
