Place: Richardson Comments: Finally after 4 hours he is out of surgery. In recovery and will go to a neurosurgery floor. I hope he's in a room by 7pm. My wonderful brother has been here with me all day. Long day but looking forward to tomorrow. Should be a great day. Thank you all so much. Goodnight for now. God is good and I thank Him. ππ

Place: Richardson Comments: Great news. Neurosurgeon just came by and stress test ok. We're good to go for brain surgery tomorrow. Thank you God.
Place: Richardson Comments: I'm waiting (impatiently) for someone to give us results from chemical stress test. His BP was really high when they took him down. He has to be cleared before he can have surgery. Waiting. . . As soon as I know I'll let you know. Thank you to our friends who put us on their church's prayer list and all those sending up prayers. ππ
Place: Kaufman, TX Comments: Sandy I donβt check in like I should. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Don. He has a rough road ahead, as do you as his caretaker. Remember to take care of yourself. As a caretaker, sometimes you forget that. I love you sweet friend. Prayers are with you and Don.
Place: RICHMOND Comments: Sandy I do not get to the guest book as often as I used to and I do not do Facebook, so I just became aware of Don's situation. Needless to say you and Don are in my prayers as others have said. I will repeat what others have stated, you need to take care of yourself so that you can be there for Don. I know that is a lot easier to say than to do, but it is important. Take care and comfort in knowing that you are loved by all you SOC friends and that all of us are praying for a good outcome.
Place: Richardson Comments: Not much to say. There are no good days. One more day until Tuesday and surgery. Going to bed early tonight because I want to leave early in the morning so can get to hospital by 6:30. Don't want to miss any of the Drs. Place: OKC Comments: For some reason part of my text vanished when I posted it. I will try to recreate. I know that God loves you and Don even though I cannot explain why He is allowing this to happen. I also know it is much easier for us to say βhang in thereβ than it is for you to do it, but you MUST. I do believe that part of the βgoodβ that can come of this is for you and Don to realize how much you are loved by family and classmates. Keep us updated because we are indeed ππππππππππππ

Place: Amarillo Comments: Oh my goodness, Sandy! In an effort to understand what's going on with Don, I "googled" the name of his condition, as you stated on an earlier GB comment. It sounds so extremely painful. Hang in there, my friend, and please find comfort in knowing that prayers are already being answered, because Don seems to be where he should be right now. And thank God he has you! Hopefully he will gain some strength, and get some much needed rest over the next few days. You should rest too. Prayers up.... Keep us posted. ~Carol |
