Place: Richardson Comments: Things have taken a bad turn. Don's mom has been rushed to hospital. It's not good. I'm going to pickup Don tomorrow so we can go to hospital and see what's going on. It's 9:40pm Sun now so will know more in morning.

Place: Kerrville Comments: So glad things are turning the corner for you and Don. I know it has been a long battle for both of you. Just know that all of your friends have kept you and Don in their thoughts and prayers. glad you are bringing him home. Love you both
Place: Richardson Comments: Well, unfortunately you are right. Not Don or the ladies at Lynridge noticed. And everyone at Lynridge knows me so I was surprised they didn't laughingly say something. But you know, it felt so good I might do it again! 🤪 😁 Yep, he's signed the paperwork and I can pick him up and bring him home at 10am Tuesday. Hallelujah!!
Place: McKinney TX Comments: 🤣🤣🤣….Sandy, it could’ve been worse! At least you remembered your clothes! I’m guessing not one person even noticed. Girlfriend, you deserve a gold crown! So glad to know you’re about to spring Don from rehab!
Place: Richardson Comments: I hate working from my cell. I keep hitting wrong icon or button Somehow I posted twice. Thursday I was in hurry to leave and get to rehab to visit with Don. Was going to leave there to pickup new meds at Walgreens for Don then to Lynridge to pick up Flois dirty clothes and check on her. I got all the way to the rehab parking lot and realized I still had my blue fuzzy houseshoes on!!😯. I kid you not! Never have I gone anywhere in my houseshoes. I sat there a minute and then said "What the hell, I don't care". So I declared Thursday as the day I officially "Lost It!"
Place: Richardson Comments: Thank you Susan. ❤️ As you know it's heartbreaking because you love them so much.

Place: North Richland Hills Comments: So sorry to hear about Tiger, Sandy.
Place: Richardson Comments: Don was doing really good yesterday. He's got his balance back and walking very well. I think I can spring him Monday or Tuesday for sure. Unfortunately my sweet almost 16 y.o.kitty, Tiger, isn't doing well at all. His kidneys are failing. Not much I can do for him. Some meds, but they won't fix the problem. I'm just going to love him and give him all the attention he craves for as long as I can. Can't talk anymore about it. Y'all have a good day Later 😿
Place: North Richland Hills Comments: Praise the Lord! All of that is so good to read! How long will he be in rehab? It sounds like he's making great progress. I know he wants to get home to be with you and enjoy your great cooking, Sandy! Love ya both!
Place: Richardson Comments: Don is doing very well. They took his walker away bec he doesn't need it anymore. When I got there yesterday he had managed to shave that 6 weeks worth of growth. Starting to look more like my husband. Today he had already walked down the hall to the barber shop and got a haircut! He's feeling good and improving each day. Thanks to all our friends who supported us and prayed for us during this ordeal. We love and appreciate you. 💖😻
Place: Richardson Comments: Susan, I will do that this afternoon. Happy birthday my friend, hope it's a good day. Hopefully one day soon we can have a girls' lunch and all get to see each other again. 🎂💖
Place: North Richland Hills Comments: Sandy, so glad to hear things are going along as they should for Don. The rehab facility should help him a lot towards his recovery. Give him a hug for me and one for you too.
Place: Richardson Comments: The transport person picking up Don was there quick. Great service so far. They have taken care of everything. Got Don settled into room and unpacked. He was watching Cowboys when I left. I've been home about 40 minutes. Remington is only 6 miles from our house. Things will be much easier now. He needs a walker to get around but hopefully he'll get his strength back pretty quick. That's it for now. Tired and going to sit down and relax. |
