SNL - if you plan a trip out-of-town - that is the only way to stop the building [frown]

On two more serious notes:  We have had to get help with Mom 24/7.  She is not doing well at all.  I now that some of you have already been through this.  It just brings me to tears every time I am there.  She says she does not know what is happening to her because one minute she feels fine and the next she will fall or cannot remember something etc.

Yesterday Bobby and neighbors were trimming trees here and the ladder shifted - Bobby fell from about 12 ft up.  He did not break anything but we did call 911 and they did  x-rays.  He will be extremely sore for awhile.  He does not remember a lot about it.  The worst feeling (other then being him) is to look out there and see him falling from the ladder.  Could not get there fast enough.  Really did scare me.[bawl]

Forgot to mention I talked with Charles yesterday and he spent time with his mom and said it was a good day.  He sounded much better than the last time and I was glad he had a nice B-day.

REMINDER TO ALL:  At the end of this month on Saturday, Sept. 27th we will have our Fall Get-Together!!  Please mark your calendar and make plans to be there.  All the details are on our EVENT pg., but it will be 2 to 6 at the Hyatt in Richardson.  NE corner of Hwy 75 & Campbell Rd.

As we've learned . . . Life is a trip with unexpected turns.  Come see your friends while you or they still can!!

For those still working, Enjoy your day off for Labor Day!!!

Sorry SNL, you just live too far west. We got a nice rain last night. First the bottom dropped out and we had a downpour for about 20 minutes. Then a good steady rain for about 15 minutes. Then a downpour for 20 minutes, followed by a steady rain for about 30 minutes. The wind whipped the rain all around the house, pounding the windows on all sides. Cleared the air and brought that fresh, clean smell. We enjoyed every minute of it.

The beautiful rain storms coming from the west came right up to dwntwn Dallas and disappeared!  They picked back up on the east side of us!!  [bawl]  I think our chance is gone but it looks good for those south of us.

McMakin - keep your ideas to yourself!!  Don't even mention that fireplace idea! [nono]  If you do, it won't be JS stalking you . . . it will be me!!

Fridays aren't as exciting as they used to be when I was working.  Hmmm, something has changed.

Jack, I'm not giving out my measurements to anyone especially JS! !
Tell Don he should just knock out the window and built a fireplace  How romantic would that be.  Rod's potty party needs to be in the Jack and Jill's room!

Do you realize today has broken a record for the most posts....in a long time

Looking for the rain.

Ms. Crowe, I don't know, but I heard from a good source that if Southworth is going to stalk someone he has to have their GPS coordinates.

Sandra Jean, who's calling who a "stalker"? I suppose you deny being in MY neck of the woods yesterday? Most of your classmates will recognize this image our surveillance camera captured last night. Even though the face is partially concealed, we've all seen those fingers double-dippin' chips at several of the SOC mini-reunions.

Nothing like talking about a person's private bath redo to bring out the wise cracks.  That's too funny Rod!  T.P. is another thing people could bring!!  [rofl] [rofl]

McMakin, if you beat JS to the punch on anything . . .  congratulations!  That doesn't happen often.

Jack - Probably 4.  If two sit on the bench seat, then 6.  Wish I had thought of a Shower Party!  [idea]  Then everyone could bring soap, windex, paper towels, maybe even new fluffy bath towels.  [cool]   The way things are going . . .  it will definitely not be hot weather by the time this thing is finished, especially now that we aren't going to simply put up the wooden shutter!  Oh heck no, it's got to be modified!

I think I'll whip up a Texas Choc sheet cake, some cookies, a big batch of my party yummy punch(it has Southern Comfort in it) & we'll be able to go out on the patio because the hot weather will be over!!! [smile]

SNL, so you are planning a shower shower? No, I guess that isn't right. It would be a shower party! Party game; how many people can you get in SNL's new shower?
Sounds like a plan.

If this isn't finished by Nov 1 you may be looking at a tombstone rather than pictures!  And it won't be mine!!!
