5 hrs 45 min from arrival until departure.  Geez, it must take them all day to install the glass in one of those big huge showers!! [rolleyes]  At least it's all done.  We can now see out the window again and oh what a difference frameless glass makes to the new glistening tile!  Now, to get the rest of the details finished up.  It never ends . . .  [crazy]

Are you sure you haven't been taking a few nips McMakin??  No shower in new stall tonight or for a few more.  Silicone has to dry.  But the major thing is it all has to be cleaned up.  Oh my, the dust has settled everywhere and Don's got so many tools in the bath you can hardy move.  But biggest hurdle is over, at least I hope so, but  the 2 guys are still here!  It's been little over 3 hrs & still at it.

Sammy thanks for update on Charles.  I know it can happen when Drs give you so much antibiotics you end up immune to it.  I'm deathly allergic to penicillin and sulfa drugs.  Kind of scary when antibiotics don't work anymore!!

Congrats Sandy and Don on the master bath. I just spoke with Charles. He sounded good and goes back to St Paul Hospital this week for a follow up visit. He is driving now as well. The two viruses he picked up on the hospital affects his CF. They pumped him full of antibiotics and he is showing resistance to them. Hopes to see us at the mini. Continued prayers for him.

Today is a big day for us.  About 2 hrs ago 2 men from the Glass Doctor arrived to install our new frameless shower glass and the big 48x48 window next to the tub.  The window lost it's seal couple of yrs ago & we waited until we did the shower glass so we could do it all at one time.  The window was the easy part!  But this  frameless glass is thicker (3/8 ") so it heavy, but looks cool.  Long slow process with drilling holes in tile & installing.  But so far so good.

Yes, the master bath retile project is close to an end!!!  still have the stone to go on the front of the tub, but all the tile is up.  The 2" stone pieces going on the tub front match the stone in the shower pan.  It's absolutely gorgeous . ..  Don does good work!!
