The beautiful rain storms coming from the west came right up to dwntwn Dallas and disappeared!  They picked back up on the east side of us!!  [bawl]  I think our chance is gone but it looks good for those south of us. 

McMakin - keep your ideas to yourself!!  Don't even mention that fireplace idea! [nono]  If you do, it won't be JS stalking you . . . it will be me!! 

Fridays aren't as exciting as they used to be when I was working.  Hmmm, something has changed.

Sandra Jean, who's calling who a "stalker"? I suppose you deny being in MY neck of the woods yesterday? Most of your classmates will recognize this image our surveillance camera captured last night. Even though the face is partially concealed, we've all seen those fingers double-dippin' chips at several of the SOC mini-reunions.

McMakin, if you beat JS to the punch on anything . . .  congratulations!  That doesn't happen often. 

Jack - Probably 4.  If two sit on the bench seat, then 6.  Wish I had thought of a Shower Party!  [idea]  Then everyone could bring soap, windex, paper towels, maybe even new fluffy bath towels.  [cool]   The way things are going . . .  it will definitely not be hot weather by the time this thing is finished, especially now that we aren't going to simply put up the wooden shutter!  Oh heck no, it's got to be modified!

I think I'll whip up a Texas Choc sheet cake, some cookies, a big batch of my party yummy punch(it has Southern Comfort in it) & we'll be able to go out on the patio because the hot weather will be over!!! [smile]

Me too Barb . . . I can hardly wait!!  Here's the thing, I was going to clean the big wooden shutters that cover the 48x48 window and the arched shutter that goes above it.  However . . .  Don now says he wants to "modify" the shutters and arch fan to fit inside the window and arch and attach to the inside of the window! [eek] We were always going to put around the edge of the shutters the same green glass trim used in the shower.  Don's now decided it would look so much better if he puts up the glass trim & adds a wooden trim piece around the edge to finish it out, then puts the shutters as an inside mount.  Unfortunately, I think he's right!  Maybe I should talk with Karen & Karen about how they reign in Mike & Bobby when they start a project and continue to find ways to improve it!!!

However, knowing that's another project and will drag out the final completion, at least the work on the shutters will take place in the garage and not the bathroom.  Also he's going to finish putting the stones & skirting on the front of the  tub & finish it out as swell as grouting the two pieces of floor tile in front of the shower he had to replace when we modified the shower seat.   And yes, we will have a reveal as soon as it's finished, hopefully before the holidays!!  LOL LOL

5 hrs 45 min from arrival until departure.  Geez, it must take them all day to install the glass in one of those big huge showers!! [rolleyes]  At least it's all done.  We can now see out the window again and oh what a difference frameless glass makes to the new glistening tile!  Now, to get the rest of the details finished up.  It never ends . . .  [crazy]

Are you sure you haven't been taking a few nips McMakin??  No shower in new stall tonight or for a few more.  Silicone has to dry.  But the major thing is it all has to be cleaned up.  Oh my, the dust has settled everywhere and Don's got so many tools in the bath you can hardy move.  But biggest hurdle is over, at least I hope so, but  the 2 guys are still here!  It's been little over 3 hrs & still at it.

Sammy thanks for update on Charles.  I know it can happen when Drs give you so much antibiotics you end up immune to it.  I'm deathly allergic to penicillin and sulfa drugs.  Kind of scary when antibiotics don't work anymore!!
