Place: Richardson Comments: Patricia, Smokey wrecked his motorcycle on May 16, 2014 and yes he was severely injured with head trauma. After a few months when he was better able to be transported they moved him to the best hospital in Houston. After a few months in the hospital he went to a rehab center. However he got pneumonia and was moved back to the hospital. Some days are better than others but communications are difficult and he has a very long way to go before even considering returning home. I receive updates from one of his good friends who lives in Houston, Larry Dunn. The last update was the 2nd week in January and he was still in the hospital. Larry has been to see Smokey several times and he talks with Smokey's dtr who is overseeing his recovery. It is a sad situation and Smokey needs all the prayers he can get.
Place: SOC67 Comments: Hi fellow Socites, I have been looking for information regarding Smokey Kimbrough. The last I heard he had a wreck and was in bad shape and that was awhile ago. Does anyone have the latest? I'm just curious as we all held him in high regard during school days.

Looks like we made it back this way just in time for that special occasion, please put Barbara and I down for the 3/28 mini reunion, being as we're just around the corner from you guys I'm thinking we'll be able to find your house...of course we both lived on the same street all through our first 12 years of school and I never knew which house was yours. ![[smile]](/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif "Smile - :)")
Place: '66 & Friends Mini on 3-28! Comments: Although an RSVP is never required at our Minis, it's always fun to hear people saying they plan to attend! So far I've seen notes from Sam & Sarah, Don & Barb, Toni & Bruce, Rick, Mike and McMakin that they plan to attend. Hopefully lots more will make it as it's always soooo good to see old friends!!!
Place: Garland USA Comments: First things first.....Happy Belated Anniversary to you and Don!!! Amazing how time flies when you're having fun. Wow - a mini at your house! That sounds like a lot of fun. Bruce and I will be there barring any unforeseen issues. It's been a long time since we've seen everyone!!
Place: Richardson Comments: What a fabulous way to celebrate Marty's 70th b-day! We love St. Thomas, St. John & St. Croix!!! We spent 10days in the area a number of yrs ago & best vacation ever!! Have fun & come back with one of those "Island" tans! See y'all at the Mini on 3-28.
Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: Sarah and I are looking forward to the mini. We are leaving for St. Thomas on 02/25 for eight days of fun in the sun. Will be staying at my younger brother's condo. We'll be thinking of you guys as we celebrate my older brother's ( Marty, SOC class of '63 ) seventieth birthday.

Place: Richardson Comments: Thanks for the good wishes Rick & Jack!! Its been an amazing 30 yrs! We've done so much and been so many places that it's nice to stick around the home base and enjoy life. Looking forward to seeing many of you for a good get-together on 3-28. So spread the word and encourage friends to come who haven't been in awhile. Life is here today . . . can be gone tomorrow. Let's enjoy our friendships while we can!!!

Date: Saturday, March 28, 2015 Time: 2:00 to 6:00pm Place: Don & Sandy's house - 2801 Ashbury Dr., Richardson, TX. 75082 There will be plenty of ice tea, coffee, cold beer and various brands of liquor (Jack, Weller's, Vodka, Scotch, Bourbon, etc.) and some mixers. We'll also have hot & cold hors d'oeuvre, chips & dips and, of course, desserts! Many of you have been to my house before, but for anyone who needs directions, contact me and I'll give you custom directions from wherever you're coming from!
