Place: Lake Tawakoni Comments: I really can sympathize with anyone who ever has and does have kidney stones. May urologist explained the movement of the stones to me once they began rolling and tumbling down the tract. My luck though I couldn't have somewhat smooth edges. Had to be the jaggered edges. So then I had Jagger Rolling Stones.
Place: Cypress Sprinds Comments: Contrary to what Bobby says, I have a good memory, and that comment will definitely merit a"Gibbs head slap". So be warned Smiley. You just played straight man Hawkins. Did you rehearse that! I think the wind is trying to blow us away here. At least we do not have to worry about clearing off the deck this morning!
Place: Lazy S Ranch Comments: Jack, of course she has tried hanging upside down. That's how old bats sleep.
Place: 66erville Comments: Shortcake, have you tried hanging upside down? Maybe that would get them moving.
Place: Richardson Comments: Wise choice Sammy! With good room rates, it makes good sense to stay at the hotel so you can enjoy the whole experience. It's fun to go down on Sat & Sun morning and have breakfast with a bunch of folks you just said goodnight to a few hours earlier. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, out the front door or a short 2 minute drive, to have lunch with friends on Saturday. Remember, food will be provided both Fri night and Sat night as well as free breakfast each morning. It's going to be a great reunion, so start planning now and get into a party mood!
Place: West Tawakoni Comments: When I was in my early 40's, I also was diagnosed with Kidney Stones. Went to the urologist and he was taken back only to tell me I had eleven stones. I immediately had the Lithotripsy done and blasted those suckers right out. Never had an issue since. Sarah and I are talking about staying at the hotel so we won't have to make that 92 mile round trip drive from Friday night to Saturday.
Place: bigD Comments: SNL and Karen, Kidney stones are the pits. I have had my fill of them. So if you are handing them out I think I will PASS.
Place: Sunny in Richardson (finally) Comments: Shortcake, I'm sorry to hear you got 2 of those darn stones! I have never had them but Don had 1 3-4 yrs ago and Rick has said he's been through it. Of course Bobby has lots of experience. Question - - - Does Tequila dissolve stones? It seems to eat a way at those worms in the bottle! Seriously, I do hope they will dissolve or pass without being blasted! Take care kiddo!
Place: Cypress springs Comments: And he was also such an idol of mine. I am shocked to learn anyone in Hollywood does not walk the straight and narrow! Right! And on an even worse note!!! What I thought was my diverticulitis acting up turns out to be kidney stones! And one the dr said is not moving. He is going to give it two weeks to dissolve. If it does not he will blast it on November 30th. I think I should jump up and down or something! Someone said this is so next time I will feel more sympathy for bobby. So say a prayer that it goes away.
Place: Soggy & Wet in Richardson Comments: Yeah Richard, I'm buying that about as much as the claim that my new bathing suit would make me look 10 lbs thinner!!
Place: Calif. Comments: Well, I'm shocked and saddened to learn Charlie Sheen has tested positive for HIV. It's true what they say; "Bad things happen to good people". He's lived such a stellar, clean and wholesome lifestyle and a real inspiration to my family, especially my grandkids. .......anybody buying this?
Place: Rainy Richardson Comments: I made it fine, and although tired last night, I wasn't as tired as Don! He dropped me & our bags off at home about 1:30 Sunday, then headed to Drippings Springs to take the kids home. He was whipped when he finally got back home some time after 9pm. John - I know a really nice place not far from the Hyatt where you & Dru can stay and the price is unbeatable!! I'll call you with info. Rickypoo - I negotiated a great deal at GWL. It started out dicey, but on my 2nd go round I got the Kids Cabin Suite for less money than the standard family room! Observations at GWL - I was worried about the water park, didn't want to be the fat G-Ma in a bathing suit! I even bought a new suit this year that guaranteed I would look 10 lbs slimmer! (I think I'll ask for my money back!) However, after being in the Water Park for about 30 minutes, I never saw so many 20, 30 & 40 somethings with boobs hanging out & bellies hanging over! Not to mention the over abundance of large all over the body tattoos! Suddenly my self esteem got a little bit better. We had a great time and the triplets loved doing all the Treasure Hunt Quests that took them all over the hotel.
Place: 66erville Comments: It will be interesting to see how long it will be before SNL regains enough energy to be able to post again after her weekend with the grandkids at Great Wolf lodge.
Place: Big Comments: SNL, we take the kids and Gkids to Great Wolf lodge in December but they raised the price of the rooms. We are saving about $100 X 3 rooms by waiting until January.
Place: The Woodlands Comments: Last December Dru and I traveled to Dallas to attend the annual SOC Christmas Party at Peaches Walker's place and I wanted to make a side visit to the Garrett Metal Detector plant in Garland. I did some heavy searching for a nice but reasonable Hotel that wasn't too far from either place. We ended up booking a room at the Hyatt Place - Garland and were quite pleased with our stay. Checking my records, my room rate was $106 and with tax came to $120.29. So it looks like SNL did really good on your roomrate. We're not sure if we will be coming up Dec. 5th for this year's Christmas party, but if we do I'd book the same hotel. |
