Sorry to hear you had foot surgery Sam!  Glad you're home & can sit by the fire and stay warm while letting your sore toes heal.  Hope it heals quickly as not being able to walk on both feet is a pain for sure!

Hey all, it's been a while since I posted here. Sandy, a remarkable job on the site. Will send a check soon. Happy birthday to all I've missed.
I got home from Presbyterian Plano Thursday after having foot surgery. Had three toes on the right foot straightened with titanium rods. On antibiotics and pain meds. Today is a good day. Sarah has had extra duties waiting on me " hand and foot".
We are looking forward to seeing all this year a our 50th.
Stay warm!

Seinfeld has a show called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.  You can YouTube it I think.  His opening show this season (Dec. 30) was at the Whitehouse driving a vintage Corvette with the President and getting coffee.  I know there aren't a lot of Obama fans on this site, but this was one of Seinfeld's better episodes, starting with his approach to the oval office.  Worth watching (they stayed away from politics).

Just tuned in to the new site! SNL, you've been busy girl! Thanks for the birthday wishes Sandy/Jack. You have no idea how close you are to being correct, Jack! After careful thought, I've decided it could be a whole lot worse. Hope everyone has recovered from the holidays. We certainly did, and we are looking forward to 2016 and all it has to offer. Happy New Year to everyone! Stay warm!

You're welcome Richard!  And you're right, you have to play around with it just like any other new software program until you get the hang of it.  At least now when we have a Get-Together I can easily post photos and not have to depend on others to them on FB.  You know I'll have lots of pics from our 50th!!!

I'm going to have a good friend who does photography to be there both nights.  We're working on the idea of setting up a designated spot for everyone to come and have their photo taken.  Working on how to get a good background.  Plus he will take hundreds of candid shots of everyone both nights.  He works cheap . . .  I provide the CDs for him to download all the pics (and give to me) and he gets a free dinner both Fri & Sat night.  Can't beat a deal like that! I've seen tons of his work and he is really good!   Our new catch phrase for our 50th Reunion is,  "See you in September!"

Nice job on the website.  I know it takes quite a bit of trial-error, editing, etc.  Thanks.

Finally able to take time to get rid of the Christmas images.  Looking for new ones for the Spring.

I want to Thank every person who sent donation checks to help replenish the dwindling Kitty!  Because of YOU and your donations we WILL HAVE decorations & other neat things at the reunion and now I won't need to set up Donnie & Jack with a Lemonade Stand! [tongue]  Although, that still sounds intriguing.

Since New Year's Day there have ben 509 looks at our new site.  There's a Status Report in the Admin Panel and it shows how many times people have looked at the site and it also gives geographic stats as well.  So, thanks for looking and I'm ready to get this new year rolling!!

And on another good note - HAPPY B-DAY TO TONI ROGERS JONES!!  Jan.5th is her B-day and want to wish her a very happy day with lots more to come!

Thanks Donnie!  I've been working on them today to try and remove some of the things I think are causing them to run outside the lines.  So far the tweaks seem to have worked.  If any one looks at the site and finds the words, names or anything else "outside the lines or skewed" please let me know.  I think a lot of it will be trial and error on my part.  Hey, I'm just happy I was able to link the GB without any problem.

Donnie - How is your knee doing?  Are you able to get around or is it still swollen?  What a terrible time for it to go bad . . . while in Vegas!  Take care of it and hope it gets better real soon!

Hey Gang, just to let you know - -  I'm having a bit of trouble with two pages on the new site.  The In Memoriam and Missing pgs.  I copied and pasted all the deceased and missing names from old site to new site and it looks fine in the "work mode".  However, when you look at it in real life it will sometimes be skewed!  They told me it was picking up all the imbedded codes from old site.  I will need to go back and actually type each name to get rid of the problem.

Just in case you were wondering if I had decided to start coloring outside the lines. [eek]  No, I swear it's them and not me!  [smile]   Sometimes the names are all lined up and inside the box and the next time some are out of the box and messed up.  I'll work on those pgs. after the G-kids leave and I rest up.  Man, 4 G-kids for 6 days can wear you out!  I believe everything else is OK.

We had a great NYE with the kids and finally got to be about 1:00am  Saw the Peanuts movie and had dinner.  Popped Poppers at midnight and drank Sparkling White Grape juice!!  Great time!!
