Place: Reunion Central-Richardson Comments: Ok friends and classmates, it's now the middle of July and I still don't have the registrations of so many of you that should be coming to the 50th Reunion. Please don't pass up this opportunity to see some dear friends, perhaps share a hug and some fun memories!! Sadly, we're all finding out we aren't guaranteed how long any one will be here. It's our 50th and our last big reunion, so for goodness sake make it a priority to attend on September 23 & 24. I must get your registration soon as time is closing in on doing the directory and giving headcount to the hotel. Oh, and then there's that big hotel payment coming up soon. Those that do the work get to enjoy a few pleasures associated with the job . . . drawing one of our gangs name from a large container. After all these years I thought you knew better. I think it is great that it is PD but Dallas! FW with my name would have been better! Definitely think we should have a redraw by someone not associated with any of us.
Place: Sachse Comments: So I am behind on the GB and just now finding out about Sammy. Praise God that he has made it through the surgery successfully and can now start the healing process. Will keep the prayers coming for you Sammy. Get well soon. Congratulations to Dane and Debbie on winning the free hotel stay. It is nice to see one of our former "men in blue" be rewarded.
Place: Richardson Comments: Yes, I think Sammy's lawn mowing days are over. He has a big area to mow and it's uneven making it difficult to maneuver. Hope he gets home today!

Place: Richardson Comments: So glad Sammy is about to go home and get out of the hospital. I'm sure he is more than ready to go home. Hey you two - - - what more can I do, both of them were sober. It was done with the utmost of integrity. Well, as much integrity as I could muster while having lunch with Abbot & Costello. Dane won fair & square!

Place: Houston TX Comments: Just received a text from Sarah Smith that Sammy may be released to go home tomorrow. Had Xrays and they were good! So thankful he is healing. Sammy and Sarah are both real troopers and I'm not just saying that because we love them!
Place: Drawing for Free Room!!! Comments: Today was the drawing to see who wins the Free Room a the hotel for Fri & Sat nights. Three certified members of the committee (Donnie, Jack & Sandy) met at a secret location (the bar at Cheddar's) and drew a name from the hermetically sealed container (tupperware from Sandy's kitchen). And the winner is . . . Dane & Debbie Thornton!! Dane was almost speechless. Congratulations to Dane & Debbie on winning the free room for the reunion!

Place: Cypress springs Comments: Back home...put the RV in the shop....may never see it again! Estimate is around $14,000. They did not know how long it would take. New roof and a/c etc. always something.
