Looking forward to seeing all of you.  Did not get to attend many of the reunions.  Will be great to see friends I went to school with; all the way back to elementary school.  Fun memories of Dale and others.  Also lots of fun carpooling to UTA with Booby and Bonnie Dove and others.

Shortcake - I won't do it for the reunion, but I'd like for all of us to do it for the next Get-Together.  Especially if I can find the "temporary" color that I can wash out the next day or so. I think it would spice up our Mini. [cool]  What are your thoughts?  [idea]


It started over the weekend and has continued thru today, classmates deciding at last minute they want to come to Reunion.  Up until today I've been able to accommodate everyone.  However, as of today, 9-8, we have a Full House on Saturday!  We still have a few places open for Friday, but Saturday is Sold Out!

Yep... We have a neighbor whose granddaughter did this. Just cannot understand it. I know it washes out in time but you have to look in the mirror in the meantime! Send me a picture if Glenda does it! lol

Can't and won't speak for her, but I'll ask. Doubt she will go that route though. She, nor I, understand this fad. The three older grand-daughters are embracing it. I guess it is just another way of expressing yourself. I understand they use Kool-aid mix sometimes for the coloring and it washes out with no damage, Seems harmless....but still strange.

Hey Hawk...I will go for the purple hair if your lovely wife will join us! The commercial is great. I think about us doing something like that every time I see it. Especially when I see someone with pink, purple, blue etc in their hair!

Two last minute checks arrived today.  One was expected, the other a surprised.  Terry Moxley and Loyd Wilson!!  Will post to the Who's Attending list. 

Had what I hope was last meeting with hotel.  Things are shaping up nicely and our decoration will make it look festive and pretty.  Don't forget about the Photo Booth Fri night.  There will be some props provided but feel free to bring your own!  If you have a favorite hat, funny glasses or whatever strikes your fancy . . .  bring it.  A photo booth is meant to have fun and get some crazy pictures.  I do imagine this crowd will certainly have fun with it!!

Toni - [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]   I love that commercial!  For those who don't know what we're laughing about, there's a commercial and it features two ladies who graduated in 1966 going to their 50th reunion.  They decide to put purple streaks in their hair for the reunion.  It's a real classic!

BTW - Bobby & Bonnie Dove have signed up for the reunion and waiting on checks for Terry Moxley & Wayne Zablosky ('63) to arrive.  We have a full house for Saturday, but have some space  available for Friday.  Directory is being printed as we speak.  Almost all the name badges are finished.  Less than 3 weeks and it will be here!!!!

Reunions can be expensive or, they can just be some of the best memories ever.  Depends on how you look at it. 

Here's an example based on how MaterCard looks at it.   Dress for Saturday night - $89.99.  Small jar of wrinkle cream remover guaranteed to make you look 10 years younger - $34.95.  New bra to make it all come together ( or up) - $34.97.  Having the best fun ever for about 6 hours each night - Priceless!!!

Do not worry about the rolls Jacks....I have a SAMs card - I will swing by there on the way and pick up a couple of hundred!
Gosh typing was so much fun...kids miss out on so much fun these days. They do not learn about the "quick brown fox" or what it means to change a ribbon or even what a ribbon is! And sewing and home ecc and all those neat things.
