Friday, 5-22, in the mail I received Donald Millican's donation check for the SOC '66 Reunion Fund.  He reminded me while at the Get-together that we had not asked for money since the big gathering in May of 2022. Lots of you donated that day and we were good, but that's 3 years ago. Several of you always send a donation each year without me asking, but it's my fault for not asking! [rolleyes]

If you haven't donated in 2 or more years, please do as I'm in the process of putting together a 60th Party and the website & GB still cost money each year.  Make check out to: SOC '66 Reunion Fund.  Send to me at:  2801 Ashbury Dr. Richardson, TX 75082.  [thumb]

Lucky - You rascal, haven't heard a word from you in years.  Yep, some days I'm amazed that I'm still here and upright.  Other days, I feel like hell.  But every day is a blessing and I just keep going. I'm afraid if I sit i idle too long I won't be able to get it back in gear!

John S. Thank you for the info on Annette Forston. I hate to hear this. It's similar similar to what happened to my sister-n-law.  She fell and fractured her Tibia, the bone from the knee to the ankle.  Surgery with plate & screws needed.  It's not easy when they have a memory problem, makes it very difficult.

Just got word late tonight that Annette Forston took a bad fall earlier today at the memory care facility. Broke a femur below the hip. She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow (Sunday). Hate to be the bearer of bad news.

I tallied all who came to the Mini Saturday.  We had 32 people attend and what a great time reminiscing with old friends. Some I've know since 1st grade, others since 7th grade at Zumwalt and a few since 10th at SOC. Then 14 of us went to Mena's for dinner.
