Place: Patriots Nation Comments: Wow.....that is one for the books....literally!
Place: KC, MO Comments: WOW!!!!! Congrats, Ada!!!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Surprise, surprise Ada Ann! But I can't blame you. We met my brother & Sis-n-law for breakfast this morning and now we're ready to go for the SB!! Got Tyson chicken nuggets & dipping sauce along with plenty of chips & salsa! Should be a good one and I do think the Falcons will give the Brady Bunch a run for their money.
Place: Patriot Nation Comments: I vote for the Pats!!!
Place: Richardson Comments: Carol - You are right on target. After an item or two are firmed up this weekend, I should be able to begin arranging for the next Mini on Monday. It is still in the plans to have it in March. There are a lot of different things that affect when we can have it. I hope that I can get it confirmed by the end of next week. The place, date, etc will be posted on the EVENT page as well as here on the GB. Really looking forward to seeing everyone again! I've set the dvr to record the 4th Annual Kitten Bowl on Sunday on the Hallmark channel. Somehow I missed the first 3?
Place: KC, MO Comments: I have to go with "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" strategy for Sunday's game. Since the Patriots beat the Steelers - who beat the Chiefs - I'll be rooting for the Patriots. How great would a Cowboys-Chiefs Super Bowl be next year?!? Love to all - Carol (Oh, almost forgot. Sandy, you've had over 4 months to recover from planning and executing our 50th reunion - with the great help of Barb, Don, and Jack, of course. So - you should be rarin' to go for the Spring mini - right??? Any thoughts? No rest for the weary, you know!)
Place: DeKalb Comments: Went to the local Doctor yesterday & there were 27 people waiting ahead of me. We all had the same old crud, it was like a assembly line Shot & C-pack. I asked if he would line us all up & just go down the line giving shots & writing prescriptions. He replied what a good ideal but there was too much paper work to do. I don't care who wins the game, I don't have a Dog in the hunt.
Place: Richardson Comments: As always, we'll be watching the big game. Wish it were the Cowboys, but . . . I like Atlanta and I'm picking the Falcons to bet the Pats by about 3 to 7 points. On a lighter note, this Sunday the annual Kitten Bowl is on the Hallmark channel at 1:00pm
Place: Oregun Comments: Yes Jack, I will be watching the game, haven't missed one yet and don't plan to miss this one. It would always be much better if the Cowboys were in it but maybe next year. Sorry Ada but I am rooting for the Falcons. I don't dislike the Pats but I like the Falcons better and it has been a long time since they were in it.
Place: Sachse Comments: Anybody? Nobody watching the game? I'm pretty sure I know who Ada Ann is picking.
Place: Sachse Comments: Who you picking to win the Super Bowl?
Place: Dallas Comments: Not that I'm complaining, but I was just channel surfing, flipped it on the Pro Bowl and saw Sean Lee?
Place: KC, MO Comments: Bless you heart, Karen. Keeping you and your mom in my thoughts. Love to all - Carol
Place: Richardson Comments: Shortcake - I know it must be a long road to recovery, but no longer having to wear the sling is progress. I'm sorry to hear your mom's condition is deteriorating so rapidly. It's difficult to say the least. Stay strong and continue with the love you are showing your mom. Believe it or not, you'll remember these times more than you think. She may not be able to convey her feelings, but she knows she is loved.
Place: Cypress Springs Comments: Glad to see that everyone survived the innuguration. I thought it was really great and absolutely loved the blue dress. Just sorry to see the protestors and damage they did. I did not vote for Obama either Sandy....but I did not go march and destroy property. And just so everyone is clear....the women's march the next day is no way representative of me. I would never have someone like Madonna represent me! Still going to physical therapy and will be for a few more weeks. Still not allowed to pick up anything over 5 lbs with right arm but do not have to wear the sling anymore. Mom seems to be going downhill fast. She does not talk hardly any at all. We think the congestive heart failure is wearing her out. It takes to much energy to get her breath and talk. It is sad and depressing. We try to have lunch with her as often as possible, although she does not eat much either. We have a girl that stays with her that is fantastic. She does a great job with her and mom likes her. Please keep her in your prayers. |
