Place: Richardson Comments: My apologies to Charles & Vernon, I should have posted this last night. I started watching a good H-M movie and literally forgot! Per Charles' conversation with Vernon yesterday, the prayers are working! Yesterday, Saturday, JoAnn took a turn for the better! ![[smile]](https://cdn.websitetoolbox.com/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif "Smile - :)") She was more alert and wanting to go home! Vernon is checking out Rehab places closer to where they live down in Italy. Hopes she can be moved there soon. But she has a long road to go as been down and in bed for 10-12 days and recovering from that terrible back infection.Vernon is thankful for all his SOC Friends and for your prayers, keep them coming as she is not in good shape and will be a long recovery.
Place: Richardson Comments: No apologies needed Tanya. This 1st showed up on FB but Don already knew about the issue. There's more to this situation than most people know and Don is aware of it and his widow. If, for whatever reason, she doesn't want them Don will ask to obtain them. Once the issue is resolved I will post the conclusion here and on FB so everyone will know. Thank you for thinking about us. ❤️
Place: Pottsboro Comments: Sorry about all the unwanted calls, etc re Your classmate. Gary had just got the message and my first thought was you. I apologize for the notice, and upsetting anyone. I didn’t want this to happen to any classmate. To me their lives matter and felt I should bring it to your class attention in case the medals might be donated to the class.
Place: Richardson Comments: Tanya, Don L. and I have all the info about the medals. He is fully aware of Bob's widow and has been in touch with her long before the posts from Mark George. Seems a few people thought it was a good idea to send out emails to numerous people/groups. Because of that Don L. and I have been inundated with calls and emails. Rest assured, it is being taking care of and if the widow wants the medals they will be given to her.

Place: Pottsboro, Tx Comments: Sandy, Gary received an email regarding your classmate Robert Hook. Markie George sent out an email to the SOC Romeo lunch members that Robert’s military medals were found in a dumpster and they wanted to get in touch with any relatives of Robert’s or classmate that may want his service medals. Get in touch with Markie George or Jimmy Powell who head that luncheon for more information. All he knew was he graduated in 1966.

Place: Richardson Comments: I spoke with Charles Moss tonight as he has been keeping me posted about Vernon Moreland's wife, JoAnn. She's been in the hospital for over a week and isn't doing very well. she was supposed to have back surgery but when they went in to do surgery they have a bad infection. Tried to clean it out but couldn't do surgery. Vernon is very concerned and has ask for his SOC friends to please pray for Joann to get better. There are several other prayer groups sending prayers but she does need all she can get. Let's help Vernon and JoAnn by sending our prayers as he would be most grateful. Place: Richardson Comments: Congratulations Larry!! You will be a double G-pa within a 5 month span. one of our G-dtrs was born on 12-24, my b-day is 12-23 and our dtrs is 12-30. Dec is a busy month for us! Happy New Year everyone! We went over to my brother's house to visit for a few hours today and now back home in comfy clothes and in for the night. Looking forward to a relaxing night of TV watching the country NYE special. Hope to see some of you tomorrow at Uncle Julio's at 11:30am!!!!
