PS. Would love to Cinco de Mayo with you all but Kathy and I won’t be in Dallas until the next weekend.

Ol’ dopey me. Forgot about using the guestbook to keep up. Since most of you have been in close contact you might not understand how GREAT it is to re-establish contact with you all. Would not trade away my military career but the cost of not being with you all more often was more of a price to pay than I realized until I was able to see you all again. Glad to hear about cancer remissions, improvement after strokes and new little people coming into the world. Most of all I am blessed to mix with all of you again

Dang that sounds good Richard!  But that whole weekend is booked with "stuff" to do on Sat & Sun.  Can I take a rain check?  If you're buying , I definitely want to make it at some point.

SNL, I'm in.  Let's all meet at Hacienda on the Lake in Mission Viejo, CA.  You'll love it, and you'll like the time away from home.

Drinks are on me.

Guess what's around the corner?  Margarita Time!  Unfortunately Cinco de Mayo is on a Saturday.

Anyone interested in meeting for a few drinks & then dinner on Friday May 4th? I guess you could say we're going to celebrate "Cuatro de Mayo". We can meet same place as last year, Uncle Julio's, or anywhere else you want.  There are lots of great Mexican restaurants all around, so it won't be difficult to select one.  Think about it and let's get serious next week as to where and when!!

Our son Tony and daughter-in-law Rhonda from Baton Rouge made us Grandparents with twin RAGIN' CAJUNS! Now they are even more Ragin' in their terrible twos.

Seems like we had a flurry of Grandones about 10 to 12 yrs ago, then we kind of hit a dry spell.  now we're having a new crop.  How wonderful.

For those of you not on FB, Michael Smith, Marty's son, posted a photo of him & his dad and said he was doing much better.  Hopes to come home from Rehab later this week.  Great news for Sammy's brother Marty.  Marty was the SOC Bear in '63

That makes 4 Ada Ann, congrats to you too.  Seems a flurry on new & precious Grandones being born recently.  How wonderful for all of us!

Don is going out the door headed over to my brother's house to pick him up for the Lancaster ride this morning.  The cold front came thru overnight & it's chilly!  Wind is horrible!  I have a feeling when they start loading his bike onto the rack in the back of the Edge they may change their minds.  Cole & very windy not the best conditions for a long bike ride.

Glad me & Tiger are warm and safe here in the house having coffee & kitty treats.
