Received another ck today from Richard Nance, plus, told that ck for David & Dianna Thomas is in the mail.  Those of you who came to our March Get-Together will remember David.  He left SOC during his Soph yr but, as we all know, once a SOCite, always a SOCite!  Happy to see we didn't scare him off and he's coming back, even bringing his wife!

I have a story to tell you about my meeting today with the Holiday Inn, but I'll let it simmer a bit, finish my drink & eat supper first.  When other classes ask me what the most important thing is when organizing a reunion/party, I always tell them . . .   Get everything you want in the contract & make sure it's signed by you & the hotel and get a copy!  That rule served me well today. Signed contracts always win out!! [biggrin]  Later, I'l explain.

Hope everyone is staying cool under this hot sun!  Anyone planning to go see fireworks Wed night??

In the 10 yrs we've been living here, a few blks from Breckinridge Park, we've walked over to the park and sat in our chairs to watch the fireworks.  then we simply mosey home.  No traffic to contend with, but man are the alleys crowed with everyone in our neighborhood walking.  Always a great fireworks display.  Happy 4th everyone!
