Place: Kerrville Comments: Thanks Don L for the anniversary wish. The good wishes are appreciated. It is sometimes hard keeping up with everyone if they do not post anywhere. I have a boot on my right foot. Something about the tendon not working correctly. Plus I have two extra bones in my foot. I always was an overachieve! Bobby is still laughing from me telling him that. I have to wear it another 3 weeks and will start therapy on Monday. Hardest part is no driving. Bobby can drive during the day but has problems at night. Ever since his eye surgery night driving bothers him. Happy New Year to everyone. Stay safe if traveling. We are at home until February 26th when we leave on an Asian cruise.
Place: Richardson Comments: Actually, it's next Sat. the 11th. Yes, myself & numerous others are attending. See y'all at 11:00am 1-11-2020! This is only post I'll make today. I'm sick. Got up Wed morning not feeling well, sinus problems. It escalated quickly. By Fri I had no voice and was really sick, went to Dr. Had 102.3 fever & congestion down in my chest. Got meds & hopefully by tomorrow I'll start feeling much better. I'm very disappointed I can't go to Sidney's memorial today. Not good way to start the new year.

Place: LV, TX Comments: Regrettably, I'll not be attending Sidney's memorial service tomorrow. Neither of us are feeling very well this evening. I'll continue prayers for him and his family. Safe travels for those who plan to attend.

Jim - I was one of the 1st graders who had to switch from Lisbon to Oliver around mid-year. As I said previously, it seemed like I'd known Sidney all along, but just couldn't place him at Oliver. David Hamm swears he could though. Regarding that post about your sheriff's deputy being gunned down, that's an awful tragedy no matter what time of the year, but especially when youngsters are left fatherless during the holidays. I heard on the radio today another news story of an officer who was run-down by a guy after a high-speed chase. He left 3 kids behind. Count your blessings. Let me get off that sad subject and wish all my classmates a very happy, safe, prosperous & get-together New Year 2020!
