Place: Richardson - Mini Get-Together Info.! Comments: Confirmation of Spring Mini Get-Together. Mark your calendars now, 30 days out, so you won't forget! Date: Saturday, March 28, 2020 Time: 2:00 to 6:00pm * Place: Hyatt Hotel NE Corner of Hwy 75 & Campbell Rd. in Richardson As always, it will be Free & in the Bar Area * The only difference is the bar will open at 2:20 instead of 2:00. I think we can handle that!
Place: Richardson Comments: To Sammy & the whole group - I can tell you this about the Mini Get-Together; It will be Saturday,. March 28, 2020. As to where it will be is still up ion the air. As always, there are "issues" and trying to get the best place and arrangement for us has a few obstacles. The hotel & restaurant atmosphere has changed from what it was when we started doing the Get-Togethers back in 2002. Just mark your calendars for 3-28-2020!! the details will follow.

Place: Alba TX Lake Fork Comments: I haven’t been on the guestbook for a while. We moved to Alba three weeks ago and been real busy. Sorry to hear about Larry. Praying for hm and the family. Sandy, do we have a confirmed date and info for the Mini?
Place: Richardson Comments: I agree Paul. There are some really good Drs who show compassion and give you their full attention and really work to get you better. Then there are the ones who . . . well, they just kinda do the minimum and pass you on to someone else without any follow thru. We're supposed to get better care by everyone being "connected" and "sharing" the info. Unfortunately, that is only as good as the Drs who are supposed to do the sharing! I keep praying that Larry will come out of the fog he seems to be in, but, it's not today. Hope you are still hanging in there and I'm sure looking forward to spring and some warmer weather.
Place: Edmond Comments: Sandy, we are staying warm, unless we go out in that bitter wind. Warmer days ahead they say. It is clear, as we all “mature,” there are a lot of things out there to”bite” us. Wish the doctors would help by talking to each other and by being a bit more careful. I know most do and are, but the ones that don’t...
Place: Richardson Comments: I talked with Gordy last night. Still in hospital as today & tomorrow running some imaging tests to make sure there's no issues with internal bleeding or with his liver. Dr. said he hopes to have him back in Rehab center by late Fri. Per FB post this morning - Larry Lewis will be moved today to a Long Term Acute Care Center. I pray he will get the care he needs to recover and get well from this ordeal.
Place: Melissa, TX USA Comments: Sandy, thanks for the updates on both Larry Lewis and Gordy Johnson. It’s hard to imagine that two longtime friends are both suffering at the same time. We are keeping Larry and Gordy in our thoughts and prayers.

Paul, you can keep that snow & north winds up there in OKCY! ![[wink]](https://cdn.websitetoolbox.com/images/boards/smilies/wink.gif "Wink - ;)") Update on Larry Lewis: He was moved after 2 weeks in ICU to a regular room on the Cardiac flr. Plans are to move him within a few days to a Long Term Acute Care Center. His mind/thinking isn't functioning well and his hand is still cold and blue. I'm praying that time and good care will bring him back to good health. I would be remiss if I didn't tell about Gordy Johnson. 3 weeks ago he had a knee replacement on his R. knee. L. knee done few yrs ago. This one didn't go as well as the first. After more than a week in hospital moved to Rehab center. But, before going to Rehab Ctr had to have 2nd surgery to repair the nerve damage done during 1st surgery! After 2 weeks in rehab, last night they transported him to Medical City Hospital because he was hemorrhaging! He said the different Drs didn't coordinate meds and were giving him 4 different blood thinners! Yikes! I'm hoping he can return to Rehab today and they have it under control. I know many of you know Gordy & his BBQ & Salsa so wanted you to know where he was, as he's NOT at his BBQ Shack. I'm praying for better news for both of these longtime friends of mine.
Place: Richardson Comments: Leslie is Larry 's dtr & she made this post few minutes ago. As of late yesterday Larry is experiencing numbness in his fingers & the hand is very cold. The Dr thinks some small blood clots have broken loose in his arm & they are addressing it. Below is the latest as of about 5 minutes ago. He's still not very coherent. Wish I had better news. "2-25-20 Update #1- he will be moved to the cardiac floor of the hospital today and likely in a few days be moved to a long term acute care facility. The original plan was straight to the facility from icu but they still have teams doing some testing and want those answers first."
Place: Richardson - Update on Larry Lewis Comments: The breathing tube was finally removed late Fri & he has continued to breath on his own. But, they tried 8 days to do that and each time it didn't work, so this is an improvement. He was fairly coherent Sat & Sun but today, Monday 2-24, when the family arrived he is incoherent and having difficulties. To all the Prayer Warriors out there, please keep praying for Larry to improve, as this is still a critical situation.
