Comments: Oh, I think you were trying to say that JD needs golf lessons. ![]() ![]()
Comments: Thanks Toni. That means I can wait for the Valentine candy to be reduced 50%, then overnight it to JD.![]() I have plenty experience driving golf carts at tournaments, so how did you know I have always wanted to take lessons, Mr. McGee ![]()
Comments: .....being the historian that I am, Sandy McM....it's Feb. 15th!! He's already getting ready for the big weekend....good luck to everyone in the frozen tundra!!
Comments: Sandy Joe, I bet you have electric socks. Did you get some of those electric pants like that NFL kicker uses?? I have been up north when it was cold. That is one of the reasons I live in Texas. Remind me to tell you about going fishing at International Falls MN on Memorial day weekend.
Comments: Cheesehead, travel safe today, as for smoozing a present out of Ms. Sandra M., I suggest golf lessons.
Comments: Ron, I had forgotten all about how much fun Christmas tree forts were. We did that in my neighborhood, too. But, we had to use our back yard. We only got one day a year to have a tree fort because when my parents came home and found the back yard full of all the neighborhood Christmas trees, I had to help clean out the back yard.......after having my rear end unceremoniously "tanned." I always conveniently forgot that I was not allowed to have all those dried up trees in our yard, no matter what we used them for. Ooooh, those WERE the days! I can still smell those trees.
Comments: J.D., Good luck this weekend....remember that it is just a game...no lives depend on the outcome. Maybe we will see you in the Super Bowl!
Comments: Buddy, Speaking of my mother's kitchen, do remember the time that I escaped the kitchen and was caught watching TV at your house, missing dinner? I think Mike Dugan's mother ratted me out as hiding at your house. Also, as I believe David Mitchell talked about the Christmas Tree forts and baseball and football games in the field next to your house. The Pappous' (sic) garage made a wonderful backdrop. Your field was necessary for the tree forts as I wasn't allowed to have a tree fort at home.
Comments: When's your birthday?
Comments: Ms McM...since you found the extra Christmas presents for your girls and the baseball tickets...are there any more gifts that you might have hidden for any of us??? I always can use clothes and golf balls, golf gloves, shoes etc... RN, RW, Happy Jack, Mr. McGoo...and anyone else...charm in with your list so she can look around the house and see if she has more left over Christmas gifts... I'll call the UPS truck to stop tomorrow and pick up my extra gifts....thanks...you are such a giving person!!!
Comments: Bobby Bradford where are you? Haven't heard from you in a while.
Comments: I had seen it once during the fair and then bought tickets as a gift to go again. I forgot about the tickets, until today and it closed last Sunday. I put gifts in safe places for Christmas then I forget about them. Found two gifts for my girls too. ![]() I guess the $ was what kept Jason here. ![]() ![]()
Comments: Ronney, jail bait.....I wish!! Sandy McM, Bruce and I took our two grandsons to the Fair last fall and we visited the baseball exhibit. We all loved it. I took all kinds of pictures with my camera-phone but unfortunately they didn't survive the fall into the pedicure water!! Remember seeing the old seats from some of the old stadiums? My son bought one off of the internet recently. His game room is full of baseball memorabilia.
Comments: Sandy Joe, you don't know what cold is! But, the people up here can't imagine what HOT is either.
Comments: Happy Jack, pardon me, my hands must be frozen...... |
