Jack - No brand comes with a pocket.  You create your own "pocket". . . er, uh, let's just say the more endowed the better the pocket!      Right girls!!

Linda: We have very limited knowledge. Only know how that clasp thingy in the back works.

SNL: no old lady stuff. Was it a key on one side and a quarter on the other for balance?  What brand comes with a pocket??

Richard; You sure that wasn't her VIN plate(anybody we'd know??)  You got some stories to tell next time you're in town.

Have applied twice for job as a bra fitter. Not offer the job yet. Is that discrimination??

It's not experience Susan; they just keep updating them...making them more complicated. And SNL's right...you can find all kinds of stuff in those things.  Found a license plate from an old VW once....just like cutting open that shark in Jaws.

OK JD, as long as you're not calling me an old lady!!

As for the "pocket" . . .  yeah, if you're lucky enough to have a pocket, it's the best place in the world to carry a key or a quarter!  When I was single & went out without a purse, I always had that "emergency quarter" tucked away!  It was for calling home in case the night didn't go like you planned!!

I think they run the ad for those Kevlar vests you're talking about around 1:30am on the info station!!!

SNL, wouldn't you think that by now, the guys would know how bras are constructed?  I mean, c'mon!  They're not inexperienced 18 year olds any more!

SNL  you're the boss and I would never...never...and I mean never would I infer that you, or any lady in our class...was old...or would use the "Industrial Strength" (to use the Ms Perkins) terminology to describe any bra that you ladies might wear...and I do know about the "WIRE" and that is not exactly what I am talking about...I'm really talking about Ms Perkins description...and to be more specific the Kevlar Vest I am describing are the bullet proof protective vests our military now wears in combat...i fact...I'm at the point in my life that I am losing weight so I don't have to worry about my own "A" cups...ask Ms McM..she sent me a photo that I think she took while I was i the shower in my room during the 40th Reunion...and made a little musical ditty out of it...LOL

Now to get to Jack's comments...WHAT POCKET????  LOL

Well, well, well . . . so now the guys are describing what they think they know about our bras!  Hmmm, would that be personal knowledge Jack, JD?

Just for the record ... If you wear a bra with an underwire it doesn't mean your an old lady!!   It means you are bigger than an A or B cup and need a little extra "lift" to keep the package up!  A piece of material ain't gonna cut it!  You guys better watch it . . .  I dare either one of you to call me an old lady to my face!!  As my funny Dad used to say, "You're cruisin' for a bruisin'!"

Ms. Sandy McM is it mascara to the left or mascara to the right or right down the middle? I have no knowledge, but I thought if it fit correctly there was no room to spare in there. I remember an ad that said it would lift and separate but i don't recall anything about a pocket.  ??

JD - I could not have made a "bra" statement as eloquently as you.  I don't know about the Kevlar Vest bra -- but I know what you are talking about.  I call them "Industrial Strength" and are needed by some women.  Boy, am I being sucked into this also.  Help, Sandra!

By the way McM,

Does that DOUBLE BARRELED MASCARA WARMER  ... meet the standards of the International Global Warming Community...and please advise if it is  a Victory Secret Lace item...in the sense of a supple...soft...visually attractive...sexy garment... or the OLD LADY WIRED UNIT that looks more like a Bullet Proof Harness designed for combat using Kevlar Protection...than a true bra?

Curious minds want to know...and I'm now convinced that the curious include all that visit the GB...even Ms Perkins!!!!

JD - I was anxious to see which of us would be the first guy to bust-out with a comment about McM's "double-barreled mascara warmer" - you win!

I'm glad that SNL broke the ice by posting what many of us were probably thinking (SNL - yes, it's a very short list).  So, let the others chime in now - you may not wind up being the only one in trouble.

At least you were complimentary & kept it above the waist, with the possible exception of the ref to Jack's.

JD, I'm afraid the commute from the lovely house you described might be a tad too far for us!!  With Don's new job he is traveling nearly every week & I still travel with my job.  We have to be within 50 minutes or less of both airports.  But thanks for the nice offer!  We think we can pu a good house here as more and more people can't afford the houses they bought!!

It's a great time to be buying . . . bad time to be selling!!  Luckily we're looking to buy!

JD - Thanks for the laugh.  Let's see what happens.  OK, Sandra, what about your input??? You started this.  Next time it's cold and we're together, I'll be looking for the "lump" in your chest (bra).

Thanks for the info SNL.  We lived in North Dallas 2 years (97-99) around Preston & Forest area, kind of across the street from the Cooper Aerobic Center.  I loved everything about it, except the traffic, higher taxes, taking my savings account with me when I took my pets to the vet.  My parakeet was sick and they wanted to give him a transfusion.  Everything was more expensive, but very convenient.  Now that 2 of my girls live in McKinney, I wish we were still there.
