Comments: I t/w Pat Williams Weatherwax late last night. She has spent (and will continue to spend) a lot of time at the hospital. They are in the process of making arrangements to move Christie to the Baylor Rehab Center by end of week. She assured me that Christie's kids will let us know just as soon as Christie's doctors feel it's OK for her to have visitors & when Christie wants to have visitors! The surgery this morning is considered relatively simply to put in a permanent drain.
Comments: Happy Birthday, Eileen, hope it was a good one. Have little sister post and let us know how you are doing.
Comments: Happy Birthday Eileen Sandifer, still remember tossing the Dallas News on your front porch. Ms. Sandra McM, don't remember the guy, I was too busy keeping Bovie (Peeker) out of trouble. Buddy C., played Del Webb's course today in Frisco with Jack Miller (Sunset 66') he ask if you were still big. I said of course, but cute in shorts.
Comments: Memo to JS: The Oscar nomination was a well-kept secret til now. Actually, Hannibal has such an 'unusual' appetite that even Cajuns don't try to copy his recipes - they're not much into human sushi, I guess.
Comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLFRIEND EILEEN, HOPE IT'S A HAPPY ONE AND MANY, MANY MORE. LOVE YA DEB
Comments: Happy Birthday Eileen . . . in case you're lurking on the GB!!! It was a beautiful day today, hope your Birthday was too!!
Comments: It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of the 8th Annual SOCademy Awards. That ongoing strike has had far-reaching implications. Last year Don Lincoln won an Oscar for "Largest Collection of Hannibal Lectner Cajun Cooking Recipes". And Richard Nance was a runaway winner in the category of "Most Likely to swap his casting couch for a La-Z-Boy recliner". details at: http://people.consolidated.net/swsw/blogger.htm
Comments: Let’s send out H a p p y B i r t h d a y !!! wishes to Eileen Sandifer today! Guess you’re out cutting up, as usual. Hope you’re doing well and that we’ll see you 6-7-8 at the mini!
Comments: Next time we're together you're telling me the whole story, Toni. ![]() Mr. McGee/Mr. Browning, do you guys remember Gary Clayton, he was about 3 or 4 years older, and he worked at Bakers Shoe Store when you did?
Comments: ....with any luck at all...some of us may be color blind and not realize that jacket is red! We will definitely want a picture of Sandy Joe in the Red coat with his musket! Shortcake, crank up the battery in your new camera. I just knew you couldn't get through one more RV show without buying a new ride! Everyone knows how I met Bruce...or at least I thought everyone knew. e-harmony would be a good starting place.....but you'd be wrong....American Singles....yep....that was the place. .....well it wasn't quite as fast as the icon typing here....lol
Comments: Sandy Joe; did you take any history courses? Were you awake in any part of any of them?? I don't think you want a RED coat. Ever hear the phrase "The red coats are coming, the red coats are coming"? The English wore red. The Americans wore blue or buckskin or civies. You may get yourself kicked out of this group before you get sworn in.
Comments: Congratulations, Sandy. I know your uncle is proud. (Is this the uncle that is/was a police officer?) But the question is what do they do?
Comments: Sandy Joe, If you want a red coat and musket, you need to come up here and visit me. Lots of American history up here.
Comments: Toni, Sandra McM, Happy Jack, I know they meet once a month, there was a blood pressure machine at the door, and the avg. age was 70. I guess the D.A.R. cooks the meal for the S.A.R., lots of soft, chewy food, with 2% milk. I can't wait to get my Red coat and musket.
Comments: I know how Toni met Bruce but I think that in the spirit of friendship, and also because she has a lot on me I'll let her tell her own story We went to the RV show yesterday and I think we are going back out there this afternoon and trade our RV in on a new one! We found one that we really like and they made us a deal that is really to good to pass up on the new one and on ours. Although ours has been really great and we have never had any problems with it. The one we are looking at is just a tad longer. Upgrading a few things. This one is a good buy - only about 50,000 miles on it! |
