Comments: Buddy C., Sugar Tree has small, sloped greens. The fairways are tight, par 4's 200 plus yd. second shots. Few houses, lots of trees, a great layout. 36 holes is a full day. Got to hit down the middle to walk, we might be there 3 days.
Comments: Sandy Joe - cuffman's tight on the give away putts. just name a place, date, start time. I'll blow the dust off the Callaways and i'm good to go. A little Sugar Tree after March 9 (day light savings) 27 or 36 holes big boy ? we can walk it right
Comments: Bay Watch Buddy, Let's tee it up. Got my new sticks, unfortunately the same swing. Been working on 18 inch putts. Browning wants to join us. Need a track with better greens, so I can take your green........
Comments: Ms. Sandra McM, Amen...........
Comments: Toni, I call it a dose of reality.
Comments: JD, yes I did get your letter. I sent you an email which you've probably already read concerning the legal issues we were discussing recently. I am very impressed with the blog page Christie's family has created. It will certainly make it a lot easier for everyone to keep up with Christie's recovery. What a thoughtful thing for them to do. I could have used something like this when John was in the hospital back in '02 but I don't think I even knew what a blog page was or if there was such a thing..lol! Reflecting back on 2002, I was deluged with telephone calls. I quickly realized that there was no humanly way possible for me to return all of the calls or talk to everyone who called even though I felt a need to keep everyone posted because I knew they all cared and were genuinely concerned. Heck, the relatives, alone, kept me talked "out" ...so I can appreciate Christie's family wanting to spend all of their time with her. Life is a precious commodity and we often times take it for granted until something like this happens. I think Christie's family must know how we "all" feel about her and that we only wish her the best and a very speedy recovery. After reading the blog page today, I can see that Christie is definitely responding ....Fox 4 indeed! I'll politely step down from my soapbox now....thank you very much! ![]()

Comments: Would you like to see an old friend we haven't seen in many years? He posts here on the GB, but now he's been "posted" on our MISC PHOTOS pg. Hope we get to see him in person in June! Also--Be sure to mark the new Blog Page for Christie so you can check on her progress via postings from her family. They want friends to check the pg rather than calling them for status. They have 2 great pictures of her! One with a SOC name tag! ![]() http://christietorbett.blogspot.com/
