Comments: Well...I guess it had to happen...Brett Farve has finally retired. What a run. And he has one more milestone to achieve...he will be the 2nd Green Bay Quarterback to be elected to the NFL Hall of Fame on the first ballot. Now...I would like to know what other NFL Team has achieved this fact...which would be the Dallas Cowboys...congrats SNL Ada...you tell Sam that I am with you...we are at 91 inches with our record being 93 inches...I have had it up to my A_ _ with the snow and the cold...we had an anomaly on Sunday with the temp at 50 degrees...but are back in the teens today with an over night low of around zero... McKee...com'on bud...get back in the game...
Comments: Cheezehead, just heard your QB has hung it up. He's been a great story, competitor, athlete. I'm sure the Frozen Tundera is in mourning. Send him here, we need a backup, and a leader.

Comments: But Ada dear, you guys should be used to seeing mega snowfalls. We seldom see it in big D. J.D. tell ADA how much you really love the snow and sub zero temperatures. Sandy, My son and daughter-in-law live in Mckinney. Took the grandkids out last night and made a snowman.
Comments: Got my award on Friday night - and just as I figured they got the tallest Battalion Chief we have to give it to me and he really gave me a hard time for a couple of minutes but then he was really great. The plaque is really great and I had a great time. We did end up buying a new RV! It has three slides on it. We might just end up having to have a GNO's over there - wine & cheese party. The living room is pretty big with the slides out!

Comments: Oh my goodness, where do I start. Sam S....snowfall is serene..my a**. We are close to breaking the 120" snow record set in the 1800s for a season. Right now this is the 4th snowiest on record. So you are seeing the Presidential primaries like we see them every 4 years...being first primary state in the nation. They descend on us with calls, signs and rallies. But, it is a boost to the economy. During the Nixon/Kennedy race, at church I learned the slogan, "Nixon, Nixon is our man. Kennedy belongs in the garbage can."
Comments: Dandy Don L., if the public knew how Walmart treats employees, vendors, and closes small Mom and Pop businesses, NO ONE would ever walk in a store. They have changed retailing around the world, and have put thousands of people out of work. Sorry, I'm a little guy, they are ruthless.
Comments: Slamming Sammy, got 3 inches in McKinney. Tough to work on swimming holes in the snow. Guess I'll go vote and find Bovie to see what wealthy retired people do.

Comments: You guys look outside lately? Something really serene about the snow. We have the fireplace going and looking through the front windows. What a sight. Guess we need to enjoy it while we can.
Comments: McGee, don't get me started! I'm so sick & tired of being bombarded every night with calls asking me if I'm going to vote for Obama or Hillery!! Tonight in 1 hr I recvd 10 calls on my two lines. Please let tomorrow be over soon!!!!! Hey, since when do we care how a word is spelled??? Spell checker is for wimps!!!!!  If we know what the word is supposed to be . . . can't be too bad! 
Comments: Happy Jack, notice no one has mentioned a word about the political climate in Texas this week? I don't remember this much noise since JFK ran when we were in elementary school.
