Comments: Jack, I think that the very best musical introduction is in Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight". He and a guitar make a wonderful couple. Both of our kid couples have chosen that song for their final dance at the wedding receptions. I am listening to it right now and I would like to go find Joe and........dance! Maybe the honeymoon isn't over just yet!

Guess you and Dale are the only ones who wanted to play. Thought forsure Ada and David would join in. In my humble opinion the best two openings are: Long cool woman in a black dress and Spirit in the sky. Glad you're back, Rick. Good to know you are doing something you understand. Comments: Halo, Happy Jack, To answer your question. whatever happened to me. I have this new position that requires me to know what I'm doing (for a change.) I spent 5 weeks learning new software now I'm teaching it to my fellow employees. Classes are going well (no rotten tomatoes thrown yet). When I'm not teaching I have to study. Richard, I'm sorry we couldn't get together in California when I was there. I was working a lot of OT in Cali. I did see my cousin in Carlsbad. I found out that she has written some books on early child development and a CD of children's games to develop dexterity. She will be in Dallas in November to give a speech to some ? organization.
Comments: It is wonderful that Linda and Rod have a new grandone....they are really into grandparenting....lucky kids! Has anyone heard from annette? Is she an offical re-Texan? Where is Rick? He should be through with his class.
Comments: Besides "Old Time Rock and Roll" I always think of the Beatles tune..da da da da da da da da... You say it's your birthday...da da da da da da da da...Happy birthday to ya! I never knew we had so many masked men in our group. Toni, you shouldn't settle for being a delegate. You should be a running mate.
Comments: Just heard from Rod Savage & he is now Grandpa for a 2nd time! Brycen was born yesterday afternoon & he sent pictures!! I'll post them tonight. Congratulations Rod & Linda on your 2nd Grandson!!

Thanks Dale, I couldn't figure out how to describe that beat at the beginning of Bob Seger's Old Time Rock & Roll. You did it beautifully!! That's # 2 with me. #1 is the very long intro of Gimme Some Lovin' by Spencer Davis Group. Donnie used it in the DVD he did for our reunion and I can't tell you how many times Barb & I heard that intro. Oh My Gosh . . . musta been 40 or 50 times Sat afternoon when they were doing the sound check! It has a very long intro with the same 6 notes. That's my #1.
