Comments: I've tried the perfectionist road and I'm not going there anymore. It's not worth the stress.
Comments: Okay, Sandy. I've had my say. I'll be quiet. (Jada, high five!!!)
Comments: Down girls, didn't mean to get you all riled up! I simply meant on the GB we are usually in a hurry & may be thinking faster than we can type! I know many times I'm thinking the word "you are" and I type "your". Sure I know the difference and no, it would never happen in a business letter or anything else I send out. But on our class GB I may not go back and make all the corrections or take time to look up several words before sending it. I'm a very good speller, but I'm a very bad typist! What I think in my head doesn't come out the same in type!
Comments: John, not in my world.
Comments: John, I'm a throw-back!
Comments: It is customary in this day and age to allow some grammer-slack.
Comments: Susan, good to hear from you. I care, too. I correct my kids when they make a grammatical mistake....guess it is the old school teacher in me!
Comments: SNL, re your post last night about spelling ... I care. The state of this country's spelling, punctuation, etc. is shameful and sometimes I feel that I'm the only one left who does care. (Now look what you did ... you got me up on my soapbox!!!)
Comments: Just one more thing. The Cowboys should have three on that list. Dandy Don should have been on the first vote!!
Comments: Sammy: I'm not sure if you are talking to me, saying that Naughty Boy and Ronney sounds like a B movie (with which I agree) or you are including me in the title. If it is the later, what did I do to get included?? Or is it i just get thrown in with everything now??
Comments: Well isn't it wonderful that Wallmart will not undercut the local ARAB merchants??Remember when their slogan was buy American?? Now they are not even interested in selling American! I wish, as Sandy said, people would realize the negative impact Walmart's way of doing business is having. We wonder what is happening to our country and we encourage it by shopping with people who's only concern is the bottom line. Oh, they advertise that they "care" about the community and make a big show out of the things they do, but there are soooo many cases of coming to small towns, opening a store, lowering prices and driving all the locals out of business. They then find there is not enough business to satisfy them and they close up. The town is left with no places to shop. Save America! Don't shop Walmart!
Comments: Well, at least now you don't have to worry about getting out and voting today - the cat's out of the bag ... http://www.theonion.com/content/video/diebold_accidentally_leaks
Comments: ....gee, Naughty Boy, we were only kidding you....Jada and I love to see if we can get a "rise" out of you....
Comments: Yep JD . . . Roger & Troy! One of them as always been my hero & still is tda! Congrats to Brett, he will leave still intack & pretty darn healthy rather than so banged-up & hurt like some of them do. They seem to play one year too long and get seriously injured. Our so is melting & the sun is shinning. It's 39 & headed to 58 tda!
Comments: McGee...you need more than a back up QB and a leader...remember what I've been saying all along...GARY HOGEBOOM. |
