Sandy Mc, just down about half a bottle of wine and check out "12 Monkeys" with Brad Pitt & Bruce Willis. It demonstrates just how good Brad is at acting...not just another pretty face. But, I doubt many females will find the movie all that entertaining...especially if one can list "Joe Black" as an all time favorite..........just jivin' you here.

That's a good question, Jack. Mary Ann typcially parties it up with her Okie friends and gets a kick out of all you guys...maybe she'll leave me to entertain my aunts and go drinkin' with the SOCites.

Memento was a wierd movie!! No wonder KMG does and probably Southworth would like it.

Sorry you won't be here, Richard. Does that mean Mary Ann can't/won't come??

Sandy McM....you're on the right track!  Linda P, don't you know that potato salad tastes better on the second day?  Besides, we need to get the low-down on the "E" box!

What's "12 Monkeys" ?  I've never heard of it.  And I don't care what anybody says, it's still my favorite movie.  It's very romantic.

It's raining so hard here you can't see downtown.

Sandy Mc, interesting you'd like "Joe Black", generally considered a pretty bad movie (Brad's appeal not withstanding). It's too long, too drawn out...the original was better. Brad, in "12 Monkeys" was quite good.

(don't you love these movie critic posts).

Karen, I have never heard of that movie.  Who's the guy that looks like Brad Pitt?
My favorite move is "Meet Joe Black" with Brad Pitt.  Never liked him before that.
Linda, how long does it take you to make potato salad?  Can't you make it Friday and go to lunch on Saturday.  Or get up early Saturday morning and make it?

Sandy McGee -- What does a pool guy do on a rainy day like today?  Catch up on paperwork?  Also, remember a while back you recommended a pediatric dentist in McKinney to me?  Anyway, my granddaughter went to the man (of the man & woman team) yesterday.  Thanks for the referral.

The guys at work said that it is raining badly enough to "choke a frog."  That's a new phrase to me, but appropriate for the amount of rain we are getting right now, and YIKES, thunder.

Thanks to Don L whose "reverse chronology" link took me to the movie title I was trying to remember. It was Memento and I thought it was a great movie and very thought provoking afterwards. It may not appeal to everyone but I would bet Mr. Southworth would find it intriguing. I hope Blockbuster has it in stock. Thanks again, Don L.  And Don, it sounds like your friends got you the perfect gifts that you could actually use.

Happy Birthday to a sweet guy, Gordy Johnson.

Speaking of backwards; Jack, I can't make the next soiree with you folks. I have an aunt with my same b'day, exactly 10 years older. So, I'm flying her and another aunt out here in June for celebrations, tours, etc. They've never been to the golden state.

Pulp Fiction may have gone every which way; but, it was another movie that went backward. I am trying to remember the name. It is one of my son's favorite movies. I will have to call him and ask the name.

You're right Linda. Pulp Fiction went backwards, forwards & sideways...all over the place, and somehow still worked out.
