I'm lucky enough to have a TV in my ofc & I watched the noon news.  Yiikes!  We've already had more than 3.5 " of rain all over Dallas & expecting 2 more waves this afternoon.  It will drop another 2 to 3" of rain!!!  I'm telling everyone right now . . .  careful when you leave this evening!!  Many signal light are out & lots of rds already closed along I35 and all over.  The creeks have risen and are going over the rds.  Remember the motto "Go around, don't drown"!  And yes, it is a "frog strangler" day!!  That's how I always heard it.

On actors, one died about 3 weeks ago that Jack (and I) continued to watch for years; Ben Chapman...he was the creature(on land) in "Creature from the Black Lagoon" (Sandy Mc's 2nd favorite movie). Jack will be happy to know that Julie Adams is still alive & well.

Richard, Meet Joe Black much like Troy were eye candy movies.  12 Monkeys is a rollicking good movie, and I agree with you that it showcases Brad's acting ability.

KMG, one aunt lives in Dallas, the other Ft. Worth.  Sandy Mc gets a bit touchy about her movies. I'll run out and rent "Joe Black" first thing this evening...I have nothing to do for 3 or 4 hours tonight anyway. I'll report in the morning.

Sandy Mc, just down about half a bottle of wine and check out "12 Monkeys" with Brad Pitt & Bruce Willis. It demonstrates just how good Brad is at acting...not just another pretty face. But, I doubt many females will find the movie all that entertaining...especially if one can list "Joe Black" as an all time favorite..........just jivin' you here.

That's a good question, Jack. Mary Ann typcially parties it up with her Okie friends and gets a kick out of all you guys...maybe she'll leave me to entertain my aunts and go drinkin' with the SOCites.

What's "12 Monkeys" ?  I've never heard of it.  And I don't care what anybody says, it's still my favorite movie.  It's very romantic.
