Comments: BLB - - I doubt it was Ronnie Allen you saw at Parkland. You're thinking of Gary Allen aren't you? Gary is still a Dr ( at least 2 years ago when I talked with his wife) and they still live in Garland. They wanted nothing to do with the reunion and he never responded to my message or the invite we sent him.
Comments: John Southworth....good going on the abstract of judgment! If that weazel ever sells his home, you'll get your $$$ before he gets his... In the event he walks out and leaves the home, I'll put you in touch with Stretch Armstrong.....he loves sports cars!
Comments: DMC...Lots of good people From Sunset and Adamson.Could have married a Gal from each, but found my SOUL MATE in EVA Or AVA!I was a BIG Motown fan and still love the Music....By the way, Last time I saw Ronny Allen , he was trying to decide from a Brilliant Med Career to being a Minister.Told me this while we saw each other at Parkland.I do not know where he is now.He comes in with a spiral notebook and his fellow classmates were carrying 12 books. He was Awesome.!!!...I do not understand it either ST.Are they afraid of something, or do they think they are better than everyone? We all do something dif ,whether it be walking among Rattlesnakes, golfing 70's ,being CIA or whatever!I am taking notes guys,I will write a book.If you do not wnat to be mentioned , you better tell me now!as far as a movie...we will be better than American Graffiti...and we have Dennis to help us.
Comments: Thanks Donna! It's amazing what spreading out several hundred photos over 3 pgs instead of one can do! I'm looking forward to re-posting the older GNO pics & the Racing pics too. I hated to remove them but ran out of room. Tonight Barb, Toni & I are picking up dinner & taking it to Amy's house to have dinner with Christie. Amy said Christie is excited and can't wait to see us. Mr. Smiley, you are a sneaky rascal. Took you a long time to get that come-back, even if it did come thru JS! ![]()
Comments: Hey SNL Love the new pic addition seems to be much easier to nav. Thanks for all your hard wlrk keeping us up 2 date and all.
Comments: Reserved, one pair of waders, size 14 trouser style. Does not come with a guarantee, caution could spill over.

Comments: Bay Watch Buddy, played lots of baseball with Jimmy Ross. Good guy, went to N. Texas, have not seen him since the early 70's. Bovie is up for golf Thursday, if you pop the string on his thong, it'll cost you a stroke.
Comments: Deb M C-plug in (bookmark)http://www.chu65nang67.us/nam/vietnam.html 1800 song of the past. I think Dr Dave will back me our generation of music will play long after we have gone. I know dear Lori will always remember Al's song. I do remember Ross. A lot of good friends from Sunset, Kimball and Adamson but the best are the HOMMIES from SOC.
Comments: That Dale, he's always getting his compadres in trouble. Apologies to SNL. Hawkins now tells me that "s/w" is code for "smoked with". What would one smoke to be as happy as John T.? KMG, a guy in the Fire Wheel Farms? part of town stiffed me on some critical Miata parts. Took him to Small Claims Court in early Feb. and won a judgment of $1,049 plus court costs, legal fees etc. He still refuses to pay, so today I slapped a lien on some property he is attempting to sell in Garland. We'll see if that brings him around. Regarding Small Claims Court, I now know that over 80% of the awarded judgments NEVER GET PAID. Think twice before you enter that messy realm. All those Judge Judy, Judge Alex, People's Court shows are just for entertainment. I can promise you that it is RARE that any of them collect a cent of what the bombastic Judge Judy awards. But I'll have to admit that there is a certain tangible "energy" you experience in the court room.
Comments: JS, I am sooooo glad you're attending on June 7th!!
Comments: JS, before you are neutered by SNL for your last comment, give us more details on the Abstract Judgment or whatever it is.
Comments: I am with you, Sally. I cannot imagine people not wanting to return the call. And, especially David. That's not like the David I remember in school. And, you are right. We are not trying to be nosey. We just like to hear how everyone is doing, whether good or not so good. What a story all of our lives would make. Sort of like a Robert Altman film. So much diversity.
Comments: I've spent all day running back and forth to Small Claims Court to nail down an "Abstract of Judgment" against a weasel in Garland. Just now catching up on today's guestbook comments and I noticed where SNL said: "I personally s/w John T & he is very happy... " Not being familiar with Sandy's shorthand I asked Dale S. what "s/w" means and he says he thinks it is "slept/with"? No wonder John T is happy.
Comments: Hey Buddy C., last Fri. I finally tracked down an "oldie but goodie"- "Let's Stay Together"- Al Green for my niece and new nephew in law. They heard it on a classic station while in CA. in the Air Force and just had to have it for their first dance together at the reception. "I think it played in your time Aunt Deb", my dear Lori said. ![]() Remember saying that to my parents. Anyhow, the record shop owner (only one in the whole yellow pages that had it!!!) and I started remembering oldies and he had everything I sang or asked for. He said he grew up in Oak Cliff (where else) and graduated from Sunset (we all can't be lucky to be SOCITES), seems like he knows you9 and Chipper Johnson. His name is Ron Ross and bro Jim Ross graduated in "67" from Adamson and knew yall very well. Small world. He asked how Chipper Johnson died, when and I couldn't remember. |
