Comments: Sandra -- Glad Courtney is ok. Nothing like mama to make a kid (no matter how old) feel good. It's like "Chicken Soup for the Soul." You probably need some rest, too. Toni -- San Diego is a wonderful place to be. Your cruise sounds like alot of fun and neat places to be. I've been to San Diego b/f, but not Cabo and Ensenada. When my oldest daughter graduated from U of Arizona in Tucson, her graduation present from me was a weekend at the Hotel Del Coronado on Coronado Island. She and her husband drove from Tucson which is 5 hours away. And, 9 months later she had a baby. It must of been the water out there. Be careful.

Comments: Courtney and I just got home from the hospital. I'm pooped  and she's hungry. I was with her over the weekend and cooked for her so she decided if she came home with me I would do the same. She likes being pampered. I told her she going home tomorrow evening. She has a stint and it's very uncomfortable. She should be back at work by Monday. Thanks for your prayers.We were cutting up in pre-op, covering her head with a blanket. I wish I had of brought a toe tag...we wanted to tease the doctor. Took some crazy pictures.    We always have fun no matter where we are.
Comments: Let's see - we sent to Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cozumel. The only one I did not have a really good time in was Jamaica and that was because getting car sick. I tried to make up for that by drinking a lot of rum at the rum factory. The water in all three places was absolutely beautiful! And the fish were amazing! So many different kinds and colors. It really was fun - we are already planning another cruise for next year.
Comments: ...Jack, Drs. Jackson and Parmely with GF Dental...they were in Garland...but now in Rowlett. Of all things, Jack! They could have used your expertise today to figure out how to turn the water back on! The city cut off all the water near his office on "66" just before he started drilling on me! He told me that he was capable of performing M.A.S.H. dentistry...and he managed. As I was leaving, a gentleman came in to find and fix the problem. Careful how you mention my name....it'll cost me the other arm and leg!! Bruce and I are going on a cruise out of San Diego, leaving 4/14 for Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada...no biggy but just being able to get outta "Dodge" is priceless for us! We're going to visit with my cousins and Bruce's sister from Friday through Sunday.
Comments: JAda, since I will be sleeping over with you at the hotel, I would be happy to chauffeur us or ride with you and Barb to see Christie. I smell a pillow fight brewing. Hey Shortcake, cough up some more details about your cruise so we can live through you vicariously. Toni, where are you headed? Someplace exotic?
Comments: Jada, I'll be glad to take you to see Christie. I'll talk to Amy about bringing you over. She will love to see you. Are you thawing out up there?

Comments: Jack, Can I recommend you to my dentist in NH? We are close....I bet there aren't many of you who can say that you sleep with your dentist!
Comments: One of the things they stressed at the convention is to ask our friends to recommend us to their dentist. Please don't stone me. For any of you that don't know, I own and operate a business that repairs dental tools. Those things that whine and the dentist uses in your mouth. All makes and models. So, if you would, next time you see your dentist, tell him you have a friend who repairs handpieces. We offer quick turn around Repairs are done in Richardson. Ask him if he is happy with his repairs and if it would be OK for me to contact him. IF he says it is OK, give me his name (and address) and I'll follow up. Thank you for your help!!!
Comments: Didn't even know I was gone, did ya? Back from Sin City. I'd like to report that I am richer than when I left, but can't. I can say that I actually have $35.00 more in my gambling pocket than when I went out there. YEA!!!! In case you haven't been there in awhile, let me inform you that the days of cheap buffets or any food are gone. And look at your bill. They have taken to adding a "service charge". I took it to be an automatic tip collector. It ranged in the 20-22 % area. Toni, who's your dentist?? |
