It's a "God" thing. I just had to say that for my skeptic friends. He's always waiting over me, even when I don't deserve it.  Linda, I got both emails. Comments: Toni---Can you fit me in your suitcase? Love San Diego, and the Del is wonderful. Be sure and ask about the Lady Ghost who haunts the place. It is so full of wonderful history. Check out the Gas Lamp District--that place is really jumping at night. As Mr. Nance says, I know where all the bars and gay hangouts are. The Navy guys know nothing about that. Congrats on your new position Sandy! You'll be a great manager, and so glad to hear your daughter is doing well.

Comments: Toni -- if we could afford a 2nd home someplace, it would be San Diego. The Del is such a classic and historical place. We rented the old style Schwinn bicycles and rode around the island (about 15 years ago). It is so beautiful there. Are you going to La Jolla? Ahhhhh, makes me want to go back. Sandra -- I tried to reply to your 1st email, but something is wrong and it wouldn't go through. I hope that you received my 2nd original email congratulating you on your new job.

Comments: Fabulous news about Courtney! Between God's care and yours, Sandra, she should be back in the pink in no time at all. Shortcake, you went to one of my favorite destinations. I adore the Panlancar Reef in Cozumel, been there 6 or 7 times, some of the fish are starting to recognize me!  I'm eating my heart out.Toni, I've only seen photos of the Hotel Del Coronado but it's definitely on my list of places to stay before I die. Your trip sounds wonderful too. I'm going to be very full from eating my heart out today.

Gotta few errands to run, tend to Maggie and go downtown to pick up some papers. Gotta get ready first, which may take another two hours. Looks like rain. Better work fast McGee before those backyards holes get filled in. |
