Happy Birthday to Carol Carpenter. Seems just like yesterday that we were dodging batons and chalk (or whatever was in his hands) from Mr Lintz @ Zumwalt. Now that I think about it, I'm sure he never threw @ Carol. He scared the fool out of James and I one day.

SNL...no hard feelings...at least you did not kick me off the GB...but my offer still stands...oh, I might bring the Kleenex anyway...I might be crying about the bill !!! LOL

I do, however, like your new color scheme...just remember it may take 5 or more coats of that funny blue and silver to cover the most prestigious color in the NFL...

Having said that, HAPPY MEALS FOR EVERYONE...DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW ONLY...just advise the people at the pay window that the last car in line is paying the bill !!!

Can't wait to watch that last driver when they try to collect...

OH My Mr. Studbiscuit - - You drive a hard bargain!  But I agree with KMG . . . you must be delusional.   Me wearing a Packer hat!!!!  Ain't gonna happen!!    I'd sooner go on a hunger strike!!

The house we recently bought has green walls in the ofc . . .  That'll be the first room to be painted.  I'm thinking Blue with a hint of Silver . . .??

Bovie probably tipped the guard & instructed him to be extra diligent in screening visitors!!!

See ya in June you ol' Packer lover!!

Hey JD, I don't want you to buy my dinner but I would love to buy yours when you come down.  You are such a generous person (even if you are a little delusional about NFL teams) so hopefully you will let me because it would be my pleasure.

We were pretty lucky where I live and work in Frisco concerning the high winds. It took forever to get to sleep because a tree branch was hitting against the outside of the house but when I finally dozed off, I slept right through the sirens that they say went off at about 3:30 AM. No power outage, the alarm went off just like "clockwork".

SNL...yes you can get in on the free dinner...each person will have top document a little differently due to the positive and or negative image that person has of me...or something I may have done for them in the past.

Having said that, in your case I will probably need you to wear the Packer Hat I gave you 2 years ago...and if you do...I'll buy your drinks as well...and if you really promise to wear it...I'll even bring you a box of Kleenex to dry your tears as you wear it...but the box will have a Green Bay logo all over it...LOL

BTW Bovie and Charlene have already put my WANTED DEAD or ALIVE POSTER in the Guard House...so you are probably correct!LOL...LOL...LOL...

Mr. Studbiscuit from the North - - I too have a B-day in 2008, so do I qualify for the free dinner??!!  But then you did say we have to prove we really like you!  Hmmmm . . . how much documentation do you require . . .??

Hey I'll be impressed if the guy at the Guard Station at Bovie's place even lets you in!!

So far JD & Ada Ann have their tickets & have made arrangement to be at the party on June 7th . . . who else??  Jim Young, James Kidd, Jerry Tillery, Karen RL, John Southworth, Don Lincoln, Karen & Jimmie Hughes, Carol Carpenter . . . .  I can go on and on and on but these are some of the out-of-towners that pop into my mind!  And the rest of you "Local" SOCites, get busy & make arrangements to attend don't mess around & Forget!  Don & I will ber there with our bright & smiley faces to greet you - - what more could you want!

Good morning my windy friends in the North Texas area...hope all are alright after what appears to be one hell of a storm...was there a tornado or just high winds...

Happy Jack...I would be honored to buy your dinner as well as your lovely wife...but only if you will return the kiss to me that I gave you last year...LOL...Carol C. no kiss required for your free dinner...or anyone for that matter that can prove to me that they really like me!!! Oh well I guess I'm safe on that offer...LOL

Well I guess I am committed to 6-7-8, have my flight, and have my room reservations, with Bovie and Charlene as well as the hotel...I was rejected pretty quick by Ada Ann...don't know what she was worried about...I am absolutely harmless...and then got rejected from the tattooed DeSoto chick with the 2 extra bed rooms for Carol Carpenter...all I want to know is what did I ever do to the girls from SOC that I would be rejected twice in 24 hours?

SNL, glad you're ok.  I talked to my son who lives on the Plano/Allen borders this am....He lives around the corner from Twin Creeks...which is now a war zone. All the fences in his neighborhood are down but his!  The kids' swing set/rock climbing wall/fort was raised off the ground and now the rock climbing wall is half way under the fort!  He said trees were down everywhere in his area but they are all ok.  Sandy McM, glad you made it through....I hope Linda P and RW can say the same!

It was raining hard and the wend was blowing at my house too.
The wend blew so hard that it was raining horizontally and it never hit the ground.

Happy Jack, Streaker Rick, the card game will NOT be strip poker under my roof. You guys are kinda cute, but unless you have a tatoo, it ain't happening. Headed to N. Dallas to check on a pool I dug yesterday, full of water.

Apparently DeSoto made the national news this morning.  I got a call from someone with the initials JD (you'll never guess, so stop trying)  it was like a freight train.  Went up the main north and south entrance to DeSoto on Hampton.  Sirens went off between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m. for at least thirty minutes.   Poured down after the wind subsided.

Our little corner is OK, but not to far away there are 3 snapped telephone/power poles. Lines still attached, but laying in the street. Lots of tree limbs in the streets and yards. Most of the area stop lights are blinking red or completely off.  We lost power for about 45 minutes. I had to get up and shut off the computer so the backup power supply would stop beeping.
Went out to get the paper this morning and the weeds had grown 6 inches.

All Right Gang, JD is buying dinner for everyone having a birthday in 2008. Such a deal!!  It will probably be less than the bar bill.
My favorite two candies were, and I guess still are, Butterfingers and 3 Musketeers. Never been much of a sweets eater.
RW, it's about time you gave cards a second chance. When you play with the guys, we want you to keep your clothes on!

Our apt complex here in Far N. Dls (off the Tollway & Keller Springs) has lots of downed trees!  Several residence can't get out of their garages for the big Pear trees that have fallen in front of them.  They were all so beautiful & now they're laying across the ground & drive paths. Our enter gate was blown off it's tracks & leaning.  Pretty scary here btwn 3:15 & 4:00 this mrng!    Hope everyone was at least safe last night, even if out of electricity.  Mine is still on!

Sandy McM - - No, add at least one more puppy & you'll know what it is to have triplets!!    The term "three-ring-circus" comes to mind!!
