We've been out & about of late. Mary Ann & I met Mr. Warmth (Deryl Litchford) and Carol in San Francisco...ate & drank too much. The Litchford's rarely drink anything, but got into it. I really only drink on about 2 occassions; when I'm with Deryl and when I'm not.  We're meeting them in Puerto Vallarta next month...we may drink again. It sounds like Mexico's in this year with the trips to Cabo.

Rick - at 1st I was confused as there were so many.  But then I just started using the ol' "One potato, two potato" rule & figured it out!  Your new job duties must be boring, why else wd you fall  asleep on the keyboard??

Hey Girls - Remember Gordy's '67 Red Impala Convertible where we had our pics taken. . . it's going to be famous!  t/w Gordy early this mrng as he's been in St. Jo, TX all wk.  An Irving, TX movie production company is shooting an old 60's movie & needed old cars.  An agency contacted Gordy & wanted to use his Impala.  He signed a contract & they paid him $450 a day!  They wdn't tell him the name or any info abt the movie except it was an American Graffiti type film!  In case you're wondering . . . St Jo is NE frm here.  You go to Gainesville & it's W of there a few miles.  Just remember - - We sat in it first!!

Sandy McM....so sorry that Courtney is having to go through all of this pain....she is too young for this.
Thank you all for your prayers.  Mother is suffering so much and is so very weak.  She is ready to go but the Lord has not called her home.  She is back with hospice, so that is a relief.  I will probably head back down there in the next few days.  J.D., keep the candles burning.

Ada-Your Mom is definitely is my prayers and I am thinking about you.

Last night was another of those bad nights with really bad storms.  The RV was really rockin.  No JD - Bobby is at the lake-it was the storm.

I am going to go and take the formal pics of the rookies today in the Fire truck.  We had Family night Wed. and showed their families a lot of what they have learned in 3 mths. It was really fun.

Great new-the new RV is supposed to be in this week & they have upgraded us to a 2009.

Sandra that's troubling news about Courtney. I know she's tired of feeling so bad. I pray the doctors will find a cause and solution soon.
BTW, it would be so cool if you met the guy of your dreams at your new job. That would be better than a bonus.

Everybody turned 60 and started going to bed before the sun goes down apparently.  Are there new rules about posting before 7:30 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m.
Ada, your still in my prayers.  Susan, maybe I didn't read it right, but I thought you said you are going thru the same.  You are also in my prayers(either way).
Any update on Christi?
So far so good at the hotel.  I think I just may love it, don't won't to speak too soon.  Met a handsome pilot today.  We have a lot of corp pilots that fly into Dallas Executive
Linda, I hope your job has settle down.  Just don't stress out.
Lunch and shopping soon. We'll have to go out to the Allen Outlet Mall.
Doctors perplexed about Courtney.  She has another stone in the left kidney now and a infection.  She had scan today at Presbyterian.  Has not been able to go back to work except half a day on Monday and she got sick.  Thank goodness she will be paid for the last three weeks.

Ada, of all the conversations you have with a parent that is the hardest one to have.  Her guardian angel is by her side.  Don and I are praying for your Mom, you and your family.

Thanks Rick, for waking Richard up.

Ada Ann, sweetie, you probably said the words your Mom needed to hear. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. And I can't wait to see you in June.

Ada, thanks for taking my call the other day. I was also honored that you shared my comments to her as you sat by her side. I know this is tough...but your Mom is a wonderful person and she made many of of us feel really good about ourselves...including me...I will never forget her...still lighting candles at Mass.

Ada Ann -- I'll be thinking about you and your mom, and praying for you. As a Believer, there is the knowledge and comfort that God is there for us.
