Comments: If you're referring to the "Gail" question, I don't think so. There are a number of Richard Nance's out here....a couple of related actors (Richard & Richard II), a coach, et al. Now, none of them are as interesting as me, but there are a lot of them.
Comments: No nothing frm Barb or Donnie tda. I suspect it was a long day at Baylor and they may not even know results yet. You know how Doctors like to keep you waiting over a weekend!! I will be t/w Barb later & we'll let you know if they have any new info. Let's pray it will be a "minor" problem & he'll be up to his old aggravating tricks in no time!

Comments: Toni, Richard's attention span is not that long. If he doesn't answer the same day you ask, forget it. Wait till you see him posting and then jump in. Try using big letters and color. It seems to attract his eye better.
Comments: Sandy McM....JD called me a couple of times yesterday...legal matters. When he did, he asked for Ms. Rogers....they had no idea who that was! They figured out it had to be a call for me!! JD, glad I could help. I hope everything goes in your favor  If it does, please remember your "old" friends  Barb, if you read this, tell Donnie that Bruce and I are thinking of him and we hope he's better real soon. Richard, are you going to answer my question from several days ago?
Comments: JAda, I copied your excerpt and saved it. That was very inspiring.  SandyMCM, I think McGee was trying to tell you that the copper that is leaching into the water is discoloring the plaster of the spa. He's definitely the expert on pools and spas. I'm anxious to hear what Donnie's cardiologist has to say. Will be thinking positive thoughts for him and Barb.
Comments: JD and Kathy were flying back home tonight. JD sounded like he was whipped. JD take care and rest up you have a big game in June and want to be in shape.
Comments: RW, just a guess, but I bet if you cure the SPA problem, you will get a life time pass to use the spa.
Comments: Yes, Richard Hawkins, class of 59, is my older brother. I recognized alot of names and faces in that Den. Mike Tillery was Jerry's older brother. He died in a car wreak, I think that same year. Lots of last names and similar faces to our class. Class of 59 was born in 40-41, just before the start of WW II. Many of those guys(and a few girls) were know to hang out or at least drop by our house. Glad to see them getting caught up to the internet thing and planning a 50th.
Comments: McGee, it's the plaster, not the water. Rick just let me know when you and Dagley, I mean Marilyn want to come.
Comments: I just spoke with Donnie & he and Barb landed at Love Field and are headed home. He has appt with his Cardiologist tmo to see what is causing the problem. He's feeling OK, but gets tired very easily. Let's all pray for a good outcome as he's needed on the links in a few months! Who else is gonna keep that motely crew in line!

Comments: I noted Richard Hawkins in the class of 59....I assume he's Jack's bro. I don't know about the last sibling standing yet, but my younger brother & I continue to watch each other to see who becomes the last.
Comments: I like this: "To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did" When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence..... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'
Comments: Even though I am not a last member of my family, I love that Ronney took a painful situation and used his new expertice as a lone surviving family member to make a difference in another family and neighbor's life. What a great way to get past the sorrow of being the last one standing by finding ways to get involved in other's lives who would appreciate our understanding from first hand experience. It could help others and also divert our focus from personal pain. Great advice and example, Ronney.  |
