Comments: Donnie - You had better get well
Comments: My thoughts and prayers to everyone and their families; Buddy with your daughter Gretchen, Sandy Mc your uncle and Donny and Barb yall couldn't have gotten a better hospital. I have had both my problems corrected there- thanks to GOD and my Dr. Michael Mack heart surgeon. Don't be surprised like me, if you forget you're in a hospital- seems more like a "super duper hotel"!! GOD Bless everyone and their families. Comments: Barbara and Donnie, you're absolutely on the prayer list! You're also on my worry list ... not that that accomplishes anything! Donnie, I'll go over to your house and do your honey-do's for you if you'll just get well! I love you both! Sandra, your uncle sounds like a very sweet man. I almost started crying reading your story. I know you're happy he's with his Savior even though you'll miss him terribly. I've been crying a lot this week. Last Saturday, we had to have one of our Beagles put down. He (Maximillian) was 14 years old, and had numerous health issues. He held on, but we had to let him go. I get so attached to my babies. (Rats! Now I'm crying again.)
Comments: Ooopps!!!! That should have read: Allen - the weather is here; wish you were beautiful.
Comments: Don, you little rascal!!!! You trying to make Barb think that a golf game will make you heal faster than the honey-dos? haha!! Makes perfect sense to me....and I don't even play golf!
Comments: Buddy (Bear) Capps, oldest, daughter, Gretchen had three disc removed this past week, she also needs our prayers for the pain she is going through and for her complete healing. I hope you don't mind that I posted this Buddy.
Comments: Streaker Rick, no insult intended, stripping was copper staining the plaster of our 5 star hotel mgrs. spa. Have you seen Lurker Dagley lately? Heard he was hanging out squeezing melons in the produce section, talking to pretty ladies as they shopped.
Comments: Sandra McM, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle. He sounds like a very nice man, and was very lucky to have you in his life. My thoughts and prayers go to you and the family.
Comments: Sandy, My heart goes out to you...it is never easy to let go. My prayers are getting longer and longer.....you and the family will be added to mine.
Comments: Sandy Mc - Travel prayers and family prayers in place. It is a strange feeling to hold a love ones hand for the last time. When it is time to leave with the Lord it is a time to rejoice. I know todays visit will last a life time
Comments: Sandy McM, I'm so sorry that you lost your Uncle T. I'm sure you will always be glad you left work & spent time with him today before he passed away. I'm sure he is up there smiling down on you right now!! I'll say a prayer for his family & you tonight.
Comments: My Uncle T passed a way this evening at 7:00 p.m.. I received a call this morning and was told he wasn't doing good., this all happened over night. I immediately left work and when I got there I crawled up in the bed with him and we had a good visit for about two hours (the hospice was there) before many others started showing.up. He was 91 years young and told me he was ready anytime the Lord was. Now, this is my uncle, i ask him how he was feeling and his answer was his usual, " I'm feeling great!" I am so thankful that I had this time with him, he was such a great Christian man in ever way. He was like my second Dad and my kids Grandad. Please pray for the family that will be driving and flying in. God is so good to give me an uncle like, Uncle T, you see he was my ex-husbands uncle, but I had known him since I was a little girl, our families went went to church together, and after the divorce he adopted me and the kids. He made sure we never did without and was always wanting to help along with him wife, Aunt Laverne.
Comments: Donnie and Barb, You are right up there at the top of the prayer list. It better be minor because you do the best videos and we need you to do them! And, I do love you both very much.
Comments: Toni, I guess that was the Betty Dial question.......same answer. Jack's right, my attention span isn't very long either.
Comments: Just wanted to give you guys an update. We went to his cardiologist today and he looked at all of the reports from Albuquerque and listened to Don's symptoms and decided that he thought it would be best to do an angiogram on Monday. He said that way if there is anything there he can go ahead and do something about it. Sooooooo it looks like Monday morning we will be at the Heart Hospital at Baylor at least for the day. If they do an angioplasty it will be an overnight stay. Keep Don in your prayers that whatever it is, is a very minor problem. Also the Doc said he could not do any honey-do's this weekend. What a way to get out of work |
