Hey  maybe the missing person has reverted to his childhood or has missed his days at SOC so much that he has gone back to his much loved bowling alleys and has become so addicted to it again that he cannot get out of them  - Maybe we should put out an all-points for a guy wearing a bowling shirt and shoes

Bulletin: Missing Persons Report
   Be on the lookout for a man, medium height, greying brown hair, timid smile, last seen travelling with a small bear known as Socrates. Has been known to post funny quips and anecdotes on the GB but seemingly has disappeared (or just ran out of material). If you see this man, approach with caution as he is armed with a scathing wit.

In spite of my gaff, Dru and I are looking forward to staying at the Doubletree. Well, by "staying", technically I mean we will be sleeping in the car in the Doubletree's parking garage Fri. & Sat. nites.

Carol C. had a great idea - sponsoring a gift for a special drawing. Not to be outdone, Dru and I will be contributing something "special" for two lucky SOCites.

Yes, I think JS has been hanging around Smiley too much. Everyone knows Bo older sister was named Duntno. Later, she married James Squat and became Duntno Diddly-Squat.

Yes, shame on you JS.  Norma Jean, named The Duchess by Bo, was something else.  The info on the Net showed her in a gold lame skin tight suit and she was hot!  The article said a reporter once asked her "how" she got into that suit & she quietly pulled out an over-sized shoe horn!!!    Gotta love a lady with a sense of humor who could also play that guitar!  It said she passed away in 2005.

Linda P....here's a thought.....leave something else valuable in your car....over $150.00 and then when it turns up missing, call the insurance company and make a claim....did I just say that?

SNL, I had the same question in my mind as you, regarding the guitar-playing girl in the Bo Diddley videos?

If you "Google" Bo Diddley and go to the Wikipedia entry, they explain that the woman is Bo's older sister ... Ho' Diddley.

KMG - Our homeowner's ins. has a $500 deductible and my iPod cost $350, so no.  We had a trailer stolen from the side of our yard in '07 and the same thing happened.  We couldn't file it on our homeowners, but we did call the police and had a police report, so we took it off our income tax.  Those iPods are so small, I bet lots are stolen.
