I just wanted to say Happy Fathers' Day to all you great Dads! I spent yesterday evening having dinner with my 90 year old Dad. His cousin turns 98 today! I hope I take after his side of the family. Now I am going to take a look at the pics from 6/7/8. BTW, SNL, the link you included for the flag jump was really fun and impressive.

Pictures look great SNL, but you forgot to include all of the pictures of our RV .  Just kidding, of course.  When I downloaded the disc I was in a hurry and did the whole thing.  Anyway - you did a great job on them.

Well gang, the party pics are finally up and labeled!!  I can't tell you "why" the4 album has now decided to throw a huge white space in between each line of photos!!     I'll need to call and have a heart-to-heart with the ISP later.

You may have noticed that with all the changes the ISP has made you can now click on the first photo and then use the arrows to see all the pics without having to close each one out and reopen the next!  Now that's a good change!

Yes, I will post some of the group photos, but that's a whole different animal.  I've had so much trouble getting these 65 pics posted I wanted to get them up and then I'll go back and tackle the big ones.  You'll need to go to the EVENTS page and read the info to find the pics!

Being that it's Flag Day, I have a spectacular display to show you.  I've never seen anything like it before and I guarantee it will make you stand up and sing along!!  It was sent to me by Martha Noah (Victor's Mom).  Turn your speakers on & enjoy!

J.D. - glad to see you made it home safely.  It was great having breakfast with you and Southworth Sunday morning

We are at the lake now-were going to celebrate Father's Day but Bobby has kidney stones at this minute so plans are in the air til we figure out how he is going to feel by Sunday   Right now he is doped up on a lot of pain medicine.

See you guys later and let me be the first to wish all of you SOC guys a HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

I, too, am deeply saddened at the passing of the head of NBC's Washington Bureau, Tim Russert. He was a great journalist. One of the BEST. A true gentleman in the industry I belonged to for so many years. NBC has a huge hole to fill in trying to replace him.

J.D. - glad to see you made it back home in one piece.

How did your trip the the Hillsboro/Lake Whitney area go? I read that the lake is down a few feet.

Thanks for your multiple displays of generosity last weekend.

J. D.,
I'm not sure about Dale's spelling, BUT, I believe it is pronounced FARVE, AND  spelled FAVRE. As in Brett Favre, Future member of the National Football League Hall of Fame, QBack of the green bay packers.

Jack, you must be kidding...Mr. Smiley is never out of the Spelling Bee...in fact, I believe that if we talked to the teachers he worked with and or supervised...you would find that he got in line every year...especially when a KMG look alike was in the class!

Southworth...you are really ahead of your class...although I can't get the website you posted...I too find it hard to believe that Hitler would have allowed Buckwheat on the screen..as it was...Jessie Owens had a hard time running in the Olympics in 36'. But then again...when I get home I'll look at the site and probably find something like a photo shop job rather than a real picture...LOL

Black & White...yea...alright! Whatever!

Mr Nance...please ring in on this...you seem to know Mr. Southworth better than I do...although he offered to buy my breakfast last Sunday...then left me the bill for not only my breakfast...but his as well! LOL

Sounds a lot like McGee or Smiley!!!
