It was definitely a fun time. In all those military manuevers, I managed to get a whiplash in my neck.  Ouch! I think my favorite part was when after being blasted in the face for about the 16th time by Jack, I called a momentary truce to see if my contact had fallen out. With McMakin's help, we convinced Jack my contact was under my eye and as he bent in closer to see...BAM! I got him right between the eyes at close range. That was swweeeeet!

Listen, Wet Wanda...I'm not a turncoat...you all suggested that it wouldn't be a pretty site if I got wet because I had on all white...so I just took your suggestion and stayed clear of the waterfall!  I'm not a turncoat, heck, I took one of the big guns from Bruce and gave it to Sandy...and I still get no credit!

Thanks girls for explaining it was a wet-t-shirt contest!  That would explain why my t-shirt was sopping wet!       I just thought Bruce & Jack were bad shots!!     Turns out...  they knew exactly what they were doing!!!

First of all Mrs. Turncoat I can't believe that you are calling us old timers when it was you that was inside the house watching us running around around outside the house  Just remember that at some point in history there will come that time when we will get even and we will turn around and go "yeah" and you will know that is for giving over the gun in the first place!!!!!  BFF

Just wanted to say that we really enjoyed Gordy's 4th of July party.  Bruce and I want to tell you that we appreciate so much your hospitality as well as the wonderful food.  We especially appreciate the doggy bag (aka pyrex baking dish!!) filled with world-class brisket.  Everyone who did not attend....you really missed a great time.  Bruce says to all the sorry losers in the water-gun/wet t-shirt contest... they (he and Jack) can't be found guilty of cheating when there were no rules!.....  Anyway, Glynda and I had a great time running through Gordy's house watching the kids romping and sloshing (is that a real word??)out in the yard!  Every time I think of Shortcake and how wet she was I can't help but laugh.....it gives an all new meaning to "wringing wet"  Bruce said if he had a vote on the winner...it would be Sandy McM because she was without a doubt the wetest...wait a second...Bruce was the one who hosed her down....does that make him the runner up?  Anyway....I bet Gordy's neighbors are still scratching their heads wondering where he found all of old timers who still think their kids!!!  Personally, I really enjoyed the 7 or so outdoor a/c units...not just anybody would consider cooling the whole neighborhood for his guests.....Gordy...you're a class act!

Hello all. Debbie and I had a date for the Boude Storey prom...we were classmates at Oliver, Storey and SOC. Somewhere I have pictures, but the picture in my mind is of the sweetest, nicest and friendliest girls in the school. She will always have a special place in my heart, and it is a better world because she was in it...God bless you Debbie Melton.

The food, drink and friends were absolutely wonderful!

The cheating on the part of Bruce and Jack was absolutely pathetic!  I mean hiding in the back yard - using that GREAT BIG WHITE GUN that was like a machine gun - that was bad .

Thanks Gordy for the doggy bag you sent home with everyone - made a really great lunch today.  Everyone that did not make it - you really missed a great time - we show pictures of the winners

Sandy McM - Q: "Who knew it was going to be a wet t-shirt contest?" - A: Every guy who attended, of course!

Karen MG - Glad you attended & if a little distant, I'd do the same.  Because, as you said, you never know when ...

To Matthew and Karen and all your family, I'm so sorry to hear the shocking news about Debbie.  I thought she was doing well with her heart surgery.  She enjoyed the GB and the reunion and we'll miss her.  God be with you during this trying time.
