Comments: Welcome to the 60's Jack. Happy Belated Birthday and I hope you celebrate many more (birthdays that is, not belated ones). Just for today, I'll even take some of the sharp pins out of the doll with your face pasted on it that I have.
Comments: Jack you ole dog- saw you Sauturday and you didnot even indicate it was your birthday! Happy Belated Birthday my friend from both of us.
Comments: Happy belated birthday, Jack!
Comments: Didn't know that Sat was Jack's Birthday! Happy Belated Birthday Jack!!! I know it was a good one!!
Comments: BELATED H a p p y B i r t h d a y wishes go out to “Happy” Jack Hawkins, for 8/9. Please pardon the delay, as I was out of town & this was late by the time I noticed it. First beer’s on me when we hook up for the Rangers game. Til then, best wishes & many on-time reminders in the future!
Comments: Even if your name is Butch, you don't play charades, and love baseball?
Comments: Men of the Square Table, cruising aboard Botox Kid's 60 ft. boat, Cable Guy Fugate, Happy Jack Hawkins and I settled on Friday Sept. 5th Rangers vs. Boston Redsox as our fall outing. We will buy Cheap ($19.00) tickets, drink beer, and solve the world's problems. Any guys that want to attend, call us this week. We will schedule a golf game for that morning at Indian Creek in Carrollton. I'll talk to Bay Watch Capps to include any of the 67er's that are interested. Make your plans, save you cash, practice your insults, trash talk, and jump aboard. A side note, do not play charades with females. They are too damn smart, creative, and watch too many movies. We were led by Captain Jimmy Hughes, Botox kept score, and we still lost.........

Comments: Sandra...I know we didn't finish. That's why you'll be coming to New Mexico to visit!! Thanks for taking the time and lunch. I really do plan to make it back for the fall weekend gathering. Sorry to hear about your girls. I'll keep them in my prayers. Linda, sorry you couldn't join us. Hopefully next time, or maybe before I get out of here.
Comments: Sandra, sorry to hear about Jana and Courtney's health issues. I'm certain that Courtney's God-given talent will be rewarded at her showing Thursday night. Linda, you really have had some almost laughable situations with the different technicians you have employed in your home remolding. The experiences that both you and SNL have had are reminiscent of the movie "The Money Pit".
Comments: Sandra, Sorry to hear about Jana. Did the doctors say that her problem can come back? Sorry to hear about Courtney, too. I know that is such a nagging problem and a worry for mom. She's too young to be having such health issues. Rod, you have great looking grandchildren. I know you have lots of fun taking them camping and fishing. What fun, too, for them. Those were pretty pictures of the landscape you sent. I've never been to Oregon, but want to go. I have been to Washington State and if Orgeon is anything like WA, what a fantastic place to be. Yesterday, I was home all day having our den floor torn out. We also bought a new toilet and I had a plumber come and install it. He made the mistake of putting the old toilet bowl in the alley to be p/u by the garbage men on Monday. Well, this morning when Rudy was leaving the house, he was going to move the toilet to a different location and noticed that someone had urinated in it. OK, so there were 4 workers (2 looked real young) at my house yesterday until 7 pm, and they were parked in the alley (near the toilet). Do you think that 1 of them might have used our old toilet??? UGGGH! That's gross.
Comments: Please put my niece, Jana back on your prayer list along with my daughter, Courtney. Jana is having sever headaches again. It's been less than a year since her surgery. Courtney has kidney stones constantly. She is leaving her position at Univision and taking a teaching position at a charter school teaching English (a $8000 salary cut). She is also raising money for her mission trip to Africa in September. She has a concert and art showing at Grace Temple this Thursday night. Please pray that this is a success, but to the glory of God. Thanks for your support. Love you guys
Comments: Rod your grandchildren are so cute or should I say handsome. Thank you for sharing with us. I know you are very proud. Sound like you live in a beautiful part of our country. Makes me a little envious. Well, Kathy and I had lunch on Thursday and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't really think we were finished with our visit but the time went quickly and Kathy had a hair appointment and I need to get back to the hotel. Sounds like she is in for a great adventure and I know we all wish her the best. Ada Ann! Congratulations. I think it's wonderful that you are going to be a grand parent. Everyone stay cool. That doesn't mean a six pack in front of the TV you guys (Jack).
Comments: Sandy I think the heat has taken its toll on everyone to the point that not many seem active. I do feel for you guys moving in the month of August as it takes me back to when we moved back to Texas in 1999 from Reno Nevada to Hideaway Lake in East Texas. We got so hot that we had to use ice soaked towels to keep us cooled off periodically to prevent heat exhaustion. If you are like us and push yourselves on a continuous basis, slow down as that heat can get to you, and you need to preserve your health. Remember you want to enjoy that new home after you get moved in.
Comments: I checked the GB a little bit ago & what's up?? Where is everyone?? Has the lower temps tda got everyone running out to do all the errands they haven't done since the 100 ++ temps set in?? |
