Happy Jack, I did not mean to slight you and our Coasty Bud from the Hill Country. D. L. my man, where can I take some of those air brush classes? What a way to express creativity.
I spoke to Cable Guy tonight, the party animal is game for anything. None of the golfers had any interest, but I suspect we could find a way to entertain ourselves. Lets plan on the 5th.

Congrats to our guys, the Fearsome Foursome, consisting of McGee, Dagley, Gray and Browning, for holding up the class of '66 reputation of being winners at today's golf competition. You guys rock!

OK, I feel better knowing that Pool Guy has confused somebody besides me.  Pool Guy, did you mean no one BESIDES the original men of the square table has expressed an interest in a GDO?? I was pretty sure Coasty, Cable Guy, you, I and (insert nickname here) Bovie were on board  No Streaker or Bandaid Bob? None of the kids from 67?  Come on, guys. Even if you don't play cow patty pool, an evening of stories and camaraderie while a baseball goes on (and all that fine ballpark food) is worth the trip.

Sad to say our vote boils down to appointments of Americas Dictatorship of the Supreme Court

John, I agree (lesser of two evils) and hope that we have a good choice for VEE PEE, so that if something happens to the PREZ we will have an excellent back up. You would think that the Republican party would have more depth. I know I could think of a few better choices.

Pool Guy - Does this mean that we've definitely pulled the plug on GDO at the Rangers game, or are we still trying to stir some interest?

I just called last night & made arrangements to spend the night up there afterwards, then saw your g/b note later.  Hope we can do something, even if not at the ballpark or golf course - thanks.

JS/McM - You're both right; not enough choices for many people to pick a clear favorite this time & feel really comfortable with who wins.

The only 'saving grace', if it can be called that, is no single person has absolute authority - must be some sort of group concensus behind them & still can be overruled by others.

This could be the yr that a very popular, heavy-weight 'Indy' comes out of left field & blows the other 2 'reigning dynasties' out of the water - I only wish.

BTW - Good morning, all! (more caffeine)

The only problem with "Go Republicans" is that one would have to be willing to vote for the Duke of Decrepitude.

Has the Crypt-Keeper picked a VeePee yet?

I turned on the TV to watch the news, didn't know the Democratic convention was on (that's Hillery talking)

I was just at the hotel about one hour ago.  There was an accident in front of the hotel.  A man tried to cross 67 and was hit by a car.  Made me sick.  I don't know why people do that.  Maybe on drugs, who knows or trying to cross to get to the liquior store.

Go Republicans

Cable Guy, Cheese Head, and other 66 duffers. To days golf outing the BOYS of 66 showed a lot of class as they took all betts and played some good golf. bUTTERFINGERS McGee, Cold Cash Dagley, Pistol Pete Gray and Botox Browning was the winning team. 10 SOCites teed it up today. Looking at 9/16 and 10/21 the third Tuesday of the Month to finish the year. Need to add more tee times next time like 5 or 6. Get with Sandy Joe or any of the 66 players today for a guaranteed good time.

I have received no response in going to a Ranger game. After golf today, no one wants to spend the time and bucks to watch those guys lose by 10 runs. When Nolan Ryan puts on a uniform, then they might be worth the cost of a ticket.
