I don't know, but she just looks too foxy to allow herself to become aged by the political process.  She should stay away from DC, before the wrinkles & gray hair set in!

If I lived in Alaska, I would vote for no. 4...very good advice.
I know that Jack will be forever grateful that he was on a "potty break" when that picture was taken.
Hey, who superimposed Palin's photo over former Texas governor Ann Richards?

Interviews with voters in the state of Alaska, show considerable dissatisfaction with Sarah Palin's maverick ways. Since taking office, she has been pushing hard to change the outdated State Motto ("North to the Future"). On Dec. 12th a state-wide vote will be taken to choose between her modernized selections:

1. Alaska - The Frozen-Snot State
2. Alaska - The "Save Yourself, I Can't Go On" State
3. Alaska - The "Who's Playing The Castanets? Whoops, It's My Teeth" State
4. Alaska - The "Don't Touch Your Tongue To The Flagpole" State

Palin and her staff have continued to thumb their noses at PETA and continue to promote the wearing of fur and slaughter of animals for their pelts (Palin pictured front row center):

Wait - They are banning Edwards - but it is ok for Clinton.  Now that just makes sooooo much sense  I guess since Clinton was already in the White House that excuses him

Happy Birthday Sam (and your sock puppet, alter ego, imaginary friend, whoever it is carrying on that conversation with you). Hope it's a great one. I never realized how much "younger" you were than most of our SOC men (and women). Go ahead, rub it in.

Sandy McM, I agree that our politicians are just as human as we are. However, if one wants to run for the top two offices in the country, he or she had better be squeaky clean. The public expects them to have enough judgment to side-step the tugs of temptation.

Just this morning on "Face the Nation" the commentator predicted a 30% to 40% chance that negative information will come forth about Sarah Palin before the election. We shall see how it plays out.

[sidebar: for those of you thinking about my name as a write-in candidate, be forewarned that I do not have sufficient judgment to do the aforementioned side-stepping]

He's no different than any other Democrat...think about it.  People put political leaders as well as preachers on pedestals.  They are just human as we are.  No one is immune to sin.

I think John Edwards has pretty much burned all the (credibility) bridges leading to any sort of political career.

Still, he is scheduled to appear at a couple of universities for speaking engagements. I would think it would be hard for the audiences to embrace his messages.

A clip from another guy's e-mail to a group of my Coastie buds:

"I believe the democrats have suddenly developed a keen sense of morality.

John Edwards has been banned from making a speech at the Democratic National Convention for having an affair and lying about it.

In his place, Bill Clinton will be speaking."

Bovie - Some advice from one of our more prominent seniors: "Tell him not to forget the 'tater' for his swimsuit & if the gals run away, flip it around - the 'tater', that is!"

Hope we'll be the repository for such sage advice when we get to be his age.
