Comments: Linda P - I've been on the OOCCL home tour many times. It's the largest home tour that I know about. They usually have about 12 tour sites. Many times one of the Oak Cliff churches is on the tour as well. If you live near by, you might even want to break the tour down to two days. I think that it well worth the money.

Comments: JD-Political Rallies On television today a Democratic operative pointed out that when Obama holds a rally 25-30,000 people show up, whereas when McCain holds one he only draws 10-15,000. The Republican spokesman replied, "That's because McCain's supporters are at work."

LOL!!! Or his acting skills... Buddy...are you sure Mr. Dodd didn't include Mrs..Frank in that split of the 700 BILLION...as I know they both stopped all legislation and checks and balances on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? Maybe they split it on a 3-WAY when the included Mr. COLD CASH!!! Oh no...I did it again...bad ideas and bad thoughts!!! LOL And to all you GOLF BALL BUBBA's...if I come to Dallas late on October 30th for the GTG on the 1st...is there a golf outing on the 31st...Maybe a Horrible GOLF BALL Freak show...??? Let me know...if so I'll bring no money so I can take all of your guys money and really enjoy the weekend...Hey Free DRINKS For everyone when I win!!!   
Comments: How about Newman's 1971 classic 'Sometimes a Great Notion', filmed a short distance to the west on the Alsea River ? It also starred Henry Fonda and Jon Voight.
Comments: ...at least we still have Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson, Anthony Hopkins, George Segal, Tony Curtis, and Robert Wagner will alive and kicking! What about "Left-Handed Gun" where Paul Newman portrayed Billy The Kid, "Somebody Up There Likes Me" where he played, I believe, Rocky Graziano, and don't forget he played in "The Young Philadelphians" too. BLB, so sorry to hear about your mother. She'll be in our thoughts and prayers as will your daughter.
Comments: Richard - Yes, of course... it was You & Jack I was thinking of!  Good news, as of Sat we now have running water & full electricity in the kitchen!! Yippee! I haven't bought groceries for cooking in 2 months. How big of a loan should I take out to stock my new cabinets and fridge?   I haven't bought new pots & pans in so long. Are they using something other than cast iron skillets over the campfire now! I'm going to check out those Copper Core & All Clad you suggested. It's not bad enough I'm worried about my new appliances & cooktop booing me, now they may boo my pots & pans too!!! Give a girl a break. Now I'm so intimidated I'm afraid to turn that new Wolf cooktop on or even use the ovens . . . !!!
