Southworth, here's a good one for you. The AIG guys are taking heat right now for spending $442k at the St Regis in Monarch Beach, CA, including $23k for Spa services; all post-bailout of $800M (+/-). Now, in their defense...it's a reeeeaaally nice place, and they've worked hard. I happend to be there while they were partying it up (I noticed the AIG welcome sign). If I'd connected the dots and realized they were spending tax-payer dollars, I could have sent my tab to their table and let them pay directly....that's fair, almost like a rebate check. I'm slipping in my old age.
