This was taken at Wynnewood Shopping Center, and I didn't get the memo on the dress code.

You're right Jack, that's not Speedy.  It does look like Eddie.  the others look vaguely familiar but no names come to mind.  C'mon folks, I know some of you know these guys.  Where's Dagley when you need him???

I transferred from Lisbon to Oliver around mid-term, 1st grade.

Based solely on facial similarities in a blow-up I made of the photo, my 'SWAG' for 2 of them are: top left, Gary Dagley, and lower right, Don Brunson.

But, of course, I have no idea where either of them attended elementary school. [confused]

Not counting Jack, I see Lynard Skynard, Tom Hanks, a young Mr Peppermint, Ron Chapman, Jimmy Rabbit, Don Meredith, Fritz von Erich and Don Ho.   Those are the only ones I recognize.

Thanks, Sandy. That is not Speedy next to me, he wasn't in our pack. I think it is Eddie Weatherspoon. How many can you guys name? (some I can't)

This is an old pic of the Cub Scout troop 314 from Lisbon.  Maybe they were in the 4th or 5th grade.  Jack H. isn't sure. Can you help I.D. the boys in the pic?

All I got is Jack on front row left & Speedy next to him.  Maybe the  the tall kid in back was Byron Ingram?  He was always bigger than any of us.

I didn't get the offer from Toni but . . .  I've received countless warnings from Chase, B of A and Wells Fargo telling me someone has tried to access my online account and I need to "click" on the link below to ensure the safety of my money!  Jokes on all of them . . .  I don't have any online financial acct!!  I still bank the old fashion way, with a checkbook. Never had anything stolen and I'm good!  [thumb]

Checking in.  Thanks to Don Lincoln for giving me the heads up on my email account being hacked.  Hopefully, that has been resolved.  I hope none of you got any strange emails from someone claiming to be me.  Sorry about that if you did - it wasn't me.  Have a relaxing weekend.  Stay safe everyone.

H a p p y  46th n r ato Roe & Carolyn Burrow for Oct. 4th (1974)!

Roe & Carolyn - You're the only October couple on the anniversary list, for now at least.  Ten years ago, you posted, in part: “Hi Y’all, it dawned on me today is our anniversary, 36 yrs with the same old woman.  It’s not easy being married to Carolyn ... I need a special award for lifetime achievement, medal of honor, etc.”

Major c
ongrats to both of you for such a 'dual-achievement' & best wishes for many more ahead!

If the word “weird” did not exist, there would be no adjective to describe the Cowboys.

Memorial was beautiful...but tough...whew!  Thanks to everyone for the prayers and condolences.  They are much appreciated.  Life is hard, but God is good.  May He bless us all...and our country.

My best,
Paul
