Comments: SNL, if you speak to Virginia, please tell her that we are praying for Don. He has endured so much. It was really nice hearing from Donnie. May the search for Brandon end soon.
Comments: Ada Ann -- My youngest daughter's name is Ryan. She loves having a different first name for a girl. I did get to put in her middle name, which is Camille (a beautiful soft name). Since my name was/is the most common name EVER, all 3 of my girls have uncommon names. How's the weather up there this year? We went to Philadelphia (never been there) in October and just loved it.
Comments: I've just gotten word of another SOC Friends who is in peril. Don Gaines was in the hospital yesterday morning for surgery on his arm where the ports for the kidney dialysis is done. While in surgery he had a heart attack and hasn't regained consciousness. Virginia said the doctors will run some tests today but they aren't sure he will wake up. Please say prayers for Don and his angel Virginia. He is in Plano Heart on Preston Rd @ Plano Pkwy. Our prayers & loving thoughts are with Virginia & our SOC buddy, Don Gaines!
Comments: Dear Barbara and Don, I have posted some of the info regarding the loss of your grandson on 63,64 and 65 sites, it does not hurt to have more prayers from all classmates going up for you and your family. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time. Know we all feel you pain and heartache in the loss of your grandson, our hope is that they find him soon. God Bless you both and your family at this time.
Comments: Don and Barb...this class, for some reason, is special and different as we care. This is what we do...God Bless as we all pray for a timely close to this tragedy. and Ada Ann...I know Jack will not work because it just is not a strong enough name..so MY SUGGESTION is J.D, what a great name...strong, smooth, easy to pronounce and very memorable. Just a thought!
Comments: Donnie & Barbara, You have much more strength than I do...maybe more faith. This is having a huge impact on all of us and we can only try to express our sincerest feelings of sorrow for you and your family...I hope it's coming across in the right way and please know it's from our hearts.
Comments: To all our wonderful SOC friends
Barbara and I cannot express the feelings of gratitude we are feeling right now for the outpouring of love and caring that we have read on the GB. We are very blessed to be associated with such a caring group of people.
We ask that you continue to remember our family in your prayers and that we can find Brandon and bring an end to this nightmare. We hurt at losing a grandchild, but cannot fathom the hurt my son and his wife are having with the loss of a child. Some of you may have experienced this and our hearts go out to you if so because we cannot imagine anything that is worse.
Thank you all for the notes on the GB, the calls, text messages, emails, food, offers of help and just being our friends.
The helicopter and boat will be out again tomorrow, and we pray for calm waters, so that the recovery plan can be carried out as needed.
Again, thanks for being our friends. We love you all
Donnie and Barbara
Comments: Rod, your grandson are so precious. They are both very handsome little men.
Comments: The woman across the street from me in Oak Cliff was named Richie. JAda, it is a grandparents right to nickname a child, so you go ahead and call he/she any name you chose, Jack or Jill or whatever. Even J 3 (J cubed). I've used several names for all of mine!
Comments: Well....probably the consideration it "deserves".
Comments: Richard, Thank you for the ideas on the names....I will pass them on to JJCO (Judea, Joe, CO).....as opposed to JJNH (Jessica, John, NH). I feel sure that they will give the matter considerable consideration.
Comments: JAda, Jack's right...careful consideration should into those names. Now, "Jack" might not work, but a strong name that just naturally commands respect for a guy might be..say..."Richard". For a girl, try "Richard"...not that common among women, but it could start a trend.
Comments: Jack, Judea and Joe are breaking with tradition.....did not want to see another J name.....I guess I will just have to accept it and be happy with whatever they choose!
Comments: JAda, I think you typeo'ed those names, Sophie and Lucas?? I felt sure the boys name would be Jack and the girl Jean or Judy!! What happened?? There's lots of J's left to be used. Get those kids back on track!!
Comments: Tomorrow, I will find out if my grandone is a girl (Sophie) or a boy (Lucas).....the baby has already become more precious to me. |
